In a rare double, the Vianney chess teams won both the Varsity and Freshman State Championships! On the varsity side, Brad Herbst and Mike Vitale had perfect 4-0 records and Kyle Tuberty, Michael Sneed, Steve Robinson, Tim Kilper, and John Reck won individual awards.

For the freshmen, Jared Herbst led the team with a 5 and 1 record while David Walter, Aaron Curran, and Joe Viviano all earned awards. Congratulations to the Chess Team on another great season!
