An Hour With a Brewmaster

- Learn more about beer: ingredients, brewing process and styles.
- Take the "3 Taste-Test Challenge"
- Learn how to treat your beer for maximum enjoyment
- Sample a variety of lagers and ales as well as new brews
- Food, refreshments, and beverages will be available immediately following the presentation

- This event is FREE and open to alumni and parents 21 and over

Once a Griffin, always a Griffin!

Whether you graduated in 1961 or 2012, you are an important part of an amazing group of men 8,200 strong.

And whether you were on campus yesterday or not since you took off your cap and gown, please know that you are welcome back at any time.

What can you do for Vianney? Here are some ideas:

1. Refer a prospective student to Vianney.
2. Come back for a game, Griffin Theatre performance or band concert.
3. Ask your employer to donate surplus equipment.
4. Remember St. John Vianney High School in your will.
5. Send a story idea or an update about yourself for Black & Gold magazine.
6. Contribute to the Griffin Fund. (Just click on the donate button at left!)
7. Donate a life insurance policy you no longer need.
8. Visit Vianney and say thanks to a teacher who touched your life.
9. Contribute to the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
10. Create a named scholarship or make a major gift to support future Griffins.

Alumni Association

If you graduated from Vianney, you are automatically a valued member of the Vianney Alumni Association.

By being an active member of this group, you have the opportunity to give back to a great institution and to network with fellow Griffins.

The Alumni Association hosts an annual golf tournament and a trivia night. Proceeds from these events help provide need-based scholarships for the sons or grandsons of alumni.

Alumni Association officers are elected for two-year terms. Current officers include:

• Treasurer: Tom Powers '00

Reunions

During the 2012-2013 school year, Vianney will welcome back 10 classes for their reunions.

Members of the Class of 2007 are invited to return for their five-year reunion at the homecoming football game Oct. 19. Vianney will provide reserved seating and a reception to welcome these guys home.

Other reunion classes are invited back for a "Guys' Night at Vianney." These are casual opportunities to revisit memories and rekindle friendships over food and drinks.
