Windhorst
Leads State In Receiving..............10/26 |
 |
Entering
the ninth game of the season, Tim Windhorst leads
the entire state
of Missouri (and both sides of the metro area) in
recieving. His 38 receptions for 903 yards and 13 touchdowns
are tops in the Show Me State. |

Desamero
Sets School Record With 4 Picks.....10/3 |
 |
Go
ahead.....try it. That must be the mindset of the
offenses that try to throw over the top of Chris
DeSamero. So far, everyone who has tried has been
frustrated by the 5'4" giant roaming the Griffin
secondary. Chris is among the area leaders with six
picks and is a sure tackler and explosive special
teams player as well. |

Steve Callanan chose his words carefully on
Wednesday.
The
Vianney senior quarterback was cautious about saying
anything negative about his team's
next opponent, but he still wanted to make his
point.....

Steve
Callanan remembers the play well.
It
was a counter run to the left. The junior quarterback
for Vianney had space and broke to
the outside, but got tripped up a bit before
a Jackson linebacker angled in and crunched
him as he landed awkwardly on his side........

VIANNEY'S
QB MAKES MOST OF RETURN |
| Vianney
quarterback Steve Callanan missed most of his junior
season with a broken collarbone, but the
senior made up for lost time in Friday's 55-6 win over
Cleveland when he accounted for five touchdowns and
407 total yards. Callanan completed nine of 14 passes
for 341 yards and three touchdowns, all three going
to senior wideout
Tim Windhorst. Callanan also carried eight times
for 126 yards and two touchdowns. "He's
a special player and teams are going to have to
find ways to contain him," Vianney
coach Gene Gladstone said. Callanan
threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns and ran
for 130 yards and a touchdown in his injury-shortened
junior campaign. He was injured in Vianney's third
game in 2004 and missed the rest of the season. |

to take on the Mizzou Tigers in Arrowhead Stadium
Saturday as the Arkansas State Indians and Missouri
