The Indians from Jackson High School in Jackson, Missouri have one of the State's richest football traditions. The Indians bring Friday Night Lights a new meaning in Southeast Missouri. This season, the Indians are what they always are, a big, physical, defense oriented team that can play with anyone and are very tough to beat at home....
 
 
Sept 21 vs DeSmet 7:00  
DeSmet is ranked #2 in the area and features some of the MCC's highest profile players. Receiver, Wes Kemp (88) and defensive back, Robert Steeples (22) both have numerous Division 1 scholarship offers. Running back/linebacker Devon King (5) and tight end/defensive end Kurt Hammerschmidt (85) are also Division 1 prospects. The Spartans are 2-0 having defeated Rock Bridge....

Don't let the Cadet's 1-3 record fool you. The 2006 State Semi-Finalists are still dangerous and a threat to make a strong late season run. The Cadets have defeated former #1 Hazelwood East and lost to #2 DeSmet, #7 Mehlville, and undefeated Chaminade. The Cadets feature one of the State's finest running backs in #2 Rayon Simmons and one of the area's best two way players in QB, #6, Jack Swoboda.

Chaminade has put together a 4-1 record and defeated CBC and SLUH on the back of a ground game led by (29) Tim Clark who averages almost 8 yards per carry. Clark runs behind a wall of linemen, most notably (65) Ben Lueken, a 6-5, 315 pounder who has numerous scholarship offers and (40) Trevor LaBarge a physical, hard blocking fullback...

Over the last three seasons, the Knights have been at the top of the GAC Conference, winning two titles and making noise in the Top Ten rankings. This season however, they have fallen on hard times as they have not won a game and are struggling to find pace before District competition begins...

As district play begins, the Huskies bring a 2-5 record into first round action. Don't let the record fool you. Ritenour will be the fastest team we have faced and despite their record, they have give some quality teams fits, including McCluer North in a double overtime loss.

The battle of the boulevard moves to the Flyer's home field this year as round 2 of district play pits the Griffins against the 4-4 Flyers. Lindbergh boasts one of the area's best defenses as well as one of the top quarterbacks.
