About Me

A product of nine states, seven schools (K-12), two universities, and four years in the Air Force, I landed at Vianney in 1986. I have taught 36 years (9 in public schools and 27 at Vianney). My degree is in secondary education with an English major and a history/psychology minor. I received my Masters Degree as a reading specialist. I did teach remedial reading classes for a few years but have found English to be my liking.

I have been married for 40 years to a wonderful lady named Jana, who is the Associate Superintendent over the Hillsboro School District, and have had three sons (Brad '95, Brian '96, and Tim '99) to graduate from Vianney, so I do have a vested interest in Vianney not only as a teacher but also as a parent. I have four grandchildren, so the legacy lives on.

While at Vianney I have coached football, basketball, diving, and tennis. I share the moderating duties of the Lettermen's Club with Mr. Charlie Walsh and am looking forward to another great year with the students.
