Attention anyone who bought baseball apparel from the baseball team store.  The items are in and you need to come to the main office during Encore to pick up your purchases.

Congratulations go out to senior baseball player Nathan Beaton who was recently named one of five finalists for the Rising Star Award, which is sponsored by the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. The winner of the award will be announced at their banquet in April. Please take the time to congratulate Nathan on this award if you see him around school today.  

This is a reminder to all students that there is to be NO food or drink taken out of the cafe at any time but especially during Encore and the lunch hour.  

There will be a Winter Athletic Apostles meeting this Wednesday, January 8 at 8:15 in room 504. All winter apostles should plan on attending.

Want to play Bocce, but you didn’t play in the Fall? See Mr. Alexander by this Friday for information. Information on the start of the session should be available soon.

Track and Field conditioning begins anew TUESDAY! Let’s take advantage of the good weather while it lasts. Running workouts posted on Track board outside weight room. See Coach Mohr for more details. We’ll meet on the track at 3:05.

Nathan Hergenrother and Nick Blackwell please stop by Campus Ministry and speak with Mr. Remiger before leaving. 

All students going with Vianney on the pro-life trip to Washington DC should have their final payments turned into Campus Ministry by the end of next week. If you need to know your balance stop by and see Mr. Remiger.

Vianney Hockey will be celebrating Senior Night on Monday, January 13. Mid States will play Fox at 7:30 PM. This will be followed by a short ceremony to recognize the 23 senior cheerleaders and hockey players. Mississippi Valley will then face off against rival Freeburg/Waterloo at 9:30 PM. Come on out to Affton Ice Rink to show support for both of our varsity hockey teams. 

Are you looking for a new  way to “launch” your 2nd semester here at Vianney?   Would you like to take your high school career to new “heights?”  Do you think gravity is overrated? Are you tired of these cheesy cliches? Then please join the Vianney Aviation Club! Our kick-off meeting is this Wednesday, January 8, after school in room 202. Two representatives from Boeing will be here to provide more information and answer questions about the 2020 Boeing Engineering Challenge,  where high schools from all over St. Louis compete with custom built aircraft designed under the direct supervision of real Boeing engineers. See Mr. Prost in room 202 for more information, and see you there!
