Monday, January 8:

There will be a winter athletic apostles meeting this Wednesday, January 10 at 8:15 in Room PE5. All winter apostles should plan on attending.

Sophomores, you are reminded that you have a class meeting during Encore today in the Fieldhouse.

There are several opportunities for students to accomplish service hours this month. We will be having two “Service on a Saturday” events on January 27th. The first will be a service project in conjunction with Cor Jesu benefitting Canterbury Enterprises and the second opportunity, on the same day will benefit our own alumni association at their trivia night. Information and sign-ups can be found on the Campus Ministry bulletin board near the Marianist lobbby.      

Attention Robotics and Aviation Club Members:   There will be a meeting tomorrow afternoon in room 202 to discuss Aviation Club requirements and to put the finishing touches on our robot before next weekend’s competition.   Please see Mr. Prost for more information...

Attention Bocce Club--anyone interested in playing the winter session should attend a meeting in Room 107 during Encore TODAY.  If you can’t make the meeting, see Mr. Alexander by Wednesday.

Anyone interested in working on our next student body mass on January 16th, please see Fr. Tim or Mr. Remiger.

There will be Mass offered in the chapel tomorrow morning, Tuesday during Encore. All are invited.

There will be a Parent meeting tomorrow night for students going on the Pro Life Pilgrimage to Washington, DC. There will be a student meeting on Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m.

Vianney Movie Club will meet today in Room 503 (Mr. Book’s room)  during Encore.

The varsity basketball team went on the road and defeated SLUH Friday night by the score of 49-44 to up their record to 9-5 on the season.  This week the Griffins travel to Lindbergh High School for the Lindbergh Tournament.  First game is Wednesday at 5:00 pm

Congratulations to the Lettermen’s Club Athlete of the Month for December--Cade Sexhauer.  Cade had a tremendous month as the Grappling Griffins opened their season.  Cade has proven to be one of the top wrestlers in the Missouri in his weight class and has been a tremendous leader for our younger wrestlers with his work ethic and positive attitude.  Congratulations Cade!
