This is a reminder to all students that there is to be NO food or drink taken out of the cafe at any time but especially during Encore and the lunch hour.  

Prolife guys who are traveling to Washington D.C. for the March for Life, we will meet Monday at encore in room 109. This is an important meeting. Please arrange your schedule so you can attend. 

Want to play Bocce, but you didn’t play in the Fall?  See Mr. Alexander by tomorrow for information. Information on the start of the session should be available soon.

You can play chess at encore today in room 209.  Wednesday the Varsity Chess Team tied Mary Institute-Country Day by the score of 15 to 15.  Derian Ryker, Tyson Manley and Alex Shaffer scored for the Griffins.

The Media Center will be closed today during Encore.

The Griffin Grapplers wrestled well last night. Varsity lost a close match to Lindbergh. Then, they took it to SLU high, a 48-14 final score. JV won against both Lindbergh and SLUH. Brynden Farmer stood out with a tech fall over his opponent: 17-2. 

Next up is a home meet on Monday vs. Oakville and Gateway Tech at 5pm.

The freshman basketball team is reminded to meet in the cafe to make sandwiches for Thankful Thursday.


Vianney Hockey will be celebrating Senior Night on MONDAY, January 13. The Mid States team will play Fox at 7:30 PM. This will be followed by a short ceremony to recognize the 23 senior cheerleaders and hockey players. The Mississippi Valley team will then face off against rival Freeburg/Waterloo at 9:30 PM. Come on out to Affton Ice Rink to show support for both of our varsity hockey teams!

Starting today at 3:00 PM, YOUR VERY OWN Griffin Esports Overwatch team will be competing in their first friendly scrimmage of the Spring Season against Central R-3 High School. You can watch the scrimmage live at:
