Paint it Pink Game

Join us at Vianney Jan. 11 for the fourth annual Paint it Pink basketball game as the Griffins take on the St. Louis University High Jr. Billikens.

Freshman play at 4 p.m., JV at 5:30 and varsity follows at 7 p.m.

The event is part of the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer program. Over the past three years, Vianney has raised more than $13,000 for this program. All proceeds support Hope Lodge, a facility in the Central West End that provides a home away from home for cancer patients receiving treatment at St. Louis-area hospitals.

Stop by the Griffin Gear Store to purchase your Paint it Pink t-shirt for $10. On game night, there will also be a variety of raffles with prizes that include Cardinals tickets, Vianney gear, a wine basket and lots more! The winners will be drawn after the thrid quarter of the varsity game. You need not be present to win.

There will be pizza and soda for sale after school Friday for students who choose not to go home after classes and just want to make a pink day of it!

The game will be broadcast live on KFNS 590AM.

It's big, it's pink and it's Vianney! We hope you'll take part!

BELOW: Gearing up for Friday's game are freshman Dan Owensby, sophomore Andrew Barnes and freshman Matt Meyer.
