Scott Simpson '82 in Amateur Hockey Hall

Congratulations to Vianney alumnus SCOTT SIMPSON from the Class of 1982. Scott recently learned of his induction as a player into the Class of 2016 for the St. Louis Amateur Hockey Hall of Fame.

Scott's accomplishments in the sport of ice hockey at the high school, junior and college level are outstanding. While playing for Vianney, in four seasons he appeared in 82 games, scored 115 goals, added 154 assists for 269 points for an average of over 3 points per game.

Simpson ranks third among all time scoring leaders in the Mid States Club Hockey Association (MSCHA) which began play in 1972. As the letter notifying him of his induction stated, "by the time you were a senior you were considered to be the best high school player in St. Louis."
