Attention all members of Vianney's new Avionics club: The kick-off meeting for the Boeing Engineering Challenge will be held this Thursday, January 22nd, in room 207. Two engineers from Boeing will be here to discuss the objectives of the competition and to answer questions. See you all there!
Congratulations to senior Nick Mataya who was selected as the Lettermen's Club athlete of the month for December. Nick has distinguished himself as one of the premier wrestlers in St. Louis. He has captured first place honors in two different tournaments and currently has a 28-2 overall record. Congratulations Nick!

Seniors interested in engineering--The Misoouri Society of Professional Engineers will award $1000 scholarships to students with a 3.0 GPA and an ACT of 29 in Math and 25 in English.
The University of Dayton is offering the Marianist Leadership Scholarship of $4000 to students with a 3.0 GPA. More details in the Leadership Center.
Optimist International is offering an essay contest and an oratorical contest to compete for scholarships up to $2500. More details in the Leadership Center.
Juniors interested in a career in medicine-- the University of Missouri offers a 'Mini Medical School" which is one week of experience in the summer. More details in the Leadership Center.
