Vianney Varsity Hockey team will be playing in the Winter Classic. This is a unique experience for not only our players but we hope our student body. The Winter Classic is OUTDOORS OLD TIME HOCKEY at Clayton Shaw Park this Saturday Jan. 23, 2016. We would appreciate any announcements at school to let the student body know about this fun and unique way to watch the Griffins on ice. 
 
Come and enjoy the excitement at the 2016 WINTER CLASSIC at Clayton’s Shaw Park on January 23, 2016. Admission for the day will be $5.00
The schedule is as follow:
12:00-1:30pm, Clayton vs MICDS
2:30-4:00pm, Duchesne vs Francis Howell North
5:30-7:00pm, Chaminade vs Vianney
8:00-9:30pm, CBC vs Oakville

​It is sad that the pilgrimage to Washington, DC for the March for Life had to be cancelled. Everyone who was scheduled to go is invited to attend a meeting in the chapel at Encore to regroup and to look to new possibilities. ​



ALL SOCCER PLAYERS: There will be a meeting for all soccer players this Thursday, January 21st immediately after school in the Griffin Cafe. Please bring something to write with and see Coach Haddock if you have any questions.

Tickets for the Vianney-Chaminade Varsity Basketball Game on Friday, February 5th are on sale at Vianney from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each person can purchase up to 6 tickets. The price is $5.00. All tickets for this game will be pre-sold. See Mrs. Hackett for more information.

The Advancement Office is looking for students who can help with set up and clean up for the Trivia Night on January 23rd from 5:30pm-11pm. See Mr. Traina in his office or email him at dtraina@vianney.com. Thank you!

Bank of America sponsors the Student Leaders summer internship program at a local non-profit . organization. Get paid while learning leadership and career skills. Attending the week-long Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. is part of this program. Applications will be accepted thru January 29. Is Medicine a potential career choice for you? The Saint Louis University School of Medicine sponsors the Summers Scholars program from June 6-June 24 from 9 am to 12 pm. Meet with health professionals, participate in a cadaver demonstration, and have several hours of ACT preparation in addition to other activities. See your counselor in the Leadership Center or the flyer on the Guidance bulletin board for more information.

The cancer awareness wrestling dual meet against CBC has been rescheduled for February 8th. We're asking for your support, so wear you favorite pink shirt and let's pack the gym in pink. If you are looking to buy a cancer awareness shirt, we will be selling them for 10 dollars in the bookstore.

The Freshman Basketball team plays at home vs. CBC at 4, The Sophomore Basketball team plays at home vs. CBC at 5:30, and the varsity finishes it off vs CBC at 7

Saturday, January 23:
The Freshman Basketball team will be playing in the Vianney Tournament @ Vianney !
The Varsity Basketball team will be playing at the Breaktime Shootout in the Mizzou Arena vs. Father Tolton at 4:30
