Tomorrow is a dress up day for everyone -- shirts & ties, dress pants and SHOES -- for the Marianist Awards Assembly.

A period teachers will read the Mandatory Encore lists after announcements and attendance this morning. Mandatory Encore begins this morning.

Juniors: Balfour reps will be here tomorrow at all lunch shifts and tomorrow evening as well as at lunch on Wednesday to take your ring orders.

Don't forget that tomorrow night is also the FAFSA completion workshop in the Media Center at 7pm. Luke Cairney from SLU's Financial Aid office will help you to make sense of this somewhat intimidating process. See you there! Fear not the FAFSA!!!

Anyone interested in trying out for volleyball should come to a meeting on Thursday in the Cafe at 3:00.

There will be a meeting of the Science Honor Society today in room 105 during encore. All members should attend.

Spirit Socks are BACK from STUCO! Version 2.0 can be purchased in room 310 today after school and throughout the week. These go Fast so pick them up now. Cost is $10.

ALL: Griffin LIFE will meet this Tuesday, Janaury 29 from 5:30-7:30 to discuss the Pro-Life Movement. Please plan on attending.

On Thursday ALL students will be attending the High School Shootout game. Food will NOT be provided for students BUT do not worry! If you are hungry after the game STUCO will be selling Pizza at Vianney (2 slices for $3). Far Cheaper than food at the game.

All members of the Griffin Newspaper staff should see Mr. Burke in room 208 today during Encore for newspaper assignments.

This past weekend, the Junior Varsity & Freshman Griffin wrestling teams took part in the annual Metro Catholic Conference Wrestling Tournament. The Junior Varsity Griffins earned an impressive second place finish overall. First places finishers on the Junior Varsity level were Austin Bollinger, Dan Plogger, and Kyle Bennett. The Freshman wrestlers took home third place honors. On the Freshman level, Charlie Schott, Justin Rapp, Teddy Schulte, and Michael Lee all finished first in their respective weight classes.
