Vianney Daily Bulletin

January 28

Congratulations to the IL varsity hockey team for finishing their regular season with five straight wins. Goalies Jack Sitner, Evan Lovera and Kyle Smarko combined for four shutouts. Congratulations to Riley Flieg, Jack Breheny, Oscar Moran, Andy Hoyt, Evan Welker and Jack Sitner for being nominated to the MVCHA All-Star team. League playoffs begin next week.

The wrestling team made a clean sweep of the competition last night, registering dual wins vs. Lift for Life, Maplewood and Cleveland ROTC. The team wrestled well on Senior night and we’re thankful to our 2 seniors, Anthony Jernigan and Brandon Stanfield, for their service to the wrestling program. Next up for Varsity is the very tough Kyle Thrasher Tournament on Fri/Saturday at Francis Howell. The Freshmen will compete on Monday in the Freshman Priory Tournament. Support your Grappling Griffins and follow us on Twitter @VianneyWrestle.

Attention all Bocce Players….Play starts tomorrow.  Revised Team rosters, session times, and match schedules are posted outside Room 107. All Bocce Players should check the session assignments and match schedules.  All Freshmen bocce players should stop by Room 107 before you leave today.

Do you like baseball?  Are you good at filming?  Are you good on the computer?  Are you able bang a trash can lid on a garbage  can? If you answered yes to any of these questions then being a baseball manager/statistical analysis for our varsity baseball team may be just the job for you this spring.  If this has sparked your interest then see Coach Brown or senior, Connor Rooney for more information.

Would Andrew Flowers & Jackson Ahern please come to the admissions office right after announcements.

Mitch Green, Devin Ward please stop in and see Coach Brown following the Three O’Clock Prayer.

Would Will Sinak please see Mr. Mantia in the Advancement Office after school today

John Jennings please pick up an envelope in the main office today after school.

The whole gang is here: bossy Lucy is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder who doesn’t give her the time of day, Patty is still mocking blanket-toting Linus and encouraging Snoopy to chase rabbits, Snoopy is on his doghouse fighting the Red Baron, and “blockhead,” himself, Charlie Brown, is in rare form. YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown opens tomorrow evening and plays through Sunday afternoon.
