Mikey Menedez, make sure to see Ms. Hoge during encore today.

“Just as iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another”. Griffin LIFE is a community of Vianney brothers, helping one another to live out the call to be Saints here in the middle of the world. Join us, Thursday night in the Media Center for Faith, Friends, and Food.

On Thursday, the fishing club will meet for the first time this semester.  We will discuss our 2nd semester outings along with information about competing against other schools in the Club Fishing of St. Louis Tournament.  The meeting will be during Encore in Room 402 and will only last about half of the Encore Period.  Everyone who is interested in fishing is welcome to attend.

Congratulations to Luke Mann who yesterday found out that he was named a 1st Team Pre-Season All-American by Collegiate Baseball Magazine.  Luke also has been named a Finalist for the Rising Star Award that is presented by the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall-of-Fame Committee.  In addition to Luke’s recognition the team was ranked #18 Nationally in Collegiate Baseball Magazine’s Preseason Poll.

Starting today and going every Tuesday and Thursday after school we will do Pitch Recognition training for anyone that is interested in furthering their hitting skills for the upcoming baseball season.  Sessions will meet in Room 305 after school and go until about 3:30 pm each time.  Again, any baseball player is welcome.

Griffin Theatre will present All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten this Thursday thru Sunday.  Kindergarten is a collection of funny stories that take a look at the fantasy of childhood through the wisdom of age. Performances are at 7:30 pm on Thursday through Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students. Kindergarten will be presented in a cabaret setting with the audience seated at tables, not in the traditional rows of seats. Please make plans to join us this weekend.
