Interested in being baptized?  If you have never been baptized, this year might be the opportunity God is giving you to think about this great celebration. During the last few years the Vianney family has welcomed +9 people into the Catholic Church. Every year during the season of Lent students and adults who are interested, prepare for this sacrament that is celebrated during Easter. If you are interested, please arrange a time to see Father Tim.

Attention Senior parents--FAFSA Frenzy takes place at Webster University on Sunday, February 9 from 2-4 pm.  Get FREE help completing the FAFSA.  See the guidance bulletin board for more information or see a counselor in the Leadership Center.

The MO Insurance Education Foundation is offering four (4) $1500 scholarships to seniors interested in pursuing a course of study in actuarial science, risk management or insurance.  Application deadline is March 31, 2014.  More details are available in the Leadership Center.

 

Attention Griffins, the Vianney auction is only a few weeks away and we still have volunteer opportunities for runners, spotters, and waiters. If you are looking for activity points or service hours, now is your chance. Stop by the Advancement Office in the Marianist Lobby to sign up!

Congratulations to 15 Vianney art students whose artwork is displayed in South County Mall Feb. 2--8: Mike Albes, Andy Barnes, Kyle Bennett, Pat Berger, Ben Dombrowski, Joe Galen, Drew Hayden, Mat Jones, Jack Kemper, Joe Kilper,  Devon Krassinger, Clayton Roth, Marc Scheipeter, James Sly, Austin Tapella. Their works are part of the Archdiocesan Art Exhibit of Grade School and High School work. 

 

Any student who has a copy of The Odyssey or Edith Hamilton's Mythology and would like to sell his copy back to the Griffin Gear store is asked to do so as soon as possible.  

 

The Media Center will begin hosting "THINK TANK" completions in February. Students can sign up with a group of 2-5 peers to complete the given task during an encore period of their choice. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each competition. Sign up in the Media Center today for your chance to win

 

VARSITY LACROSSE PLAYERS:  Pre-season conditioning is CANCELLED on Saturday February 1st due to impending weather.

 

ALL LACROSSE PLAYERS:  If you ordered team gloves or a team helmet your payments are due by THURSDAY February 6th.

Tonight Vianney Varsity ice hockey team begins playoffs. They play Fort Zumwalt West at South County Ice Rink at 9:15 p.m.They also play Saturday February 1st at Kirkwood Ice Rink vs. KIRKWOOD at 9:15 p.m. Please come out support your team.
