Good Morning Griffins...THIS is your Vianney Daily!

 

Last day for Volleyball open gym tonight after school.

 

Ping Pong is not won with speed or reflexes. It is won with the heart, and the mind. Come by tomorrow after school to play.

 

There is a Pro Life conference for teens coming up. Learn more about it at the Pro Life Club meeting next week.



PAINTBALL CLUB:  Anyone interested in participating in the next Paintball Club battle, please make plans to attend the meeting on Thursday, February 5th in the Leadership Center.  The meeting will begin immediately after school, so don't be late!  Please see Ms. White if you have any questions!

 

For everyone interested in competing for the track and field team, the sign up meeting dates are this week and as follows.  For ALL freshman, please report to Coach Bishop in room 206 Thursday during Encore.  For all Senior, Junior, and Sophomore Throwers, please report to Coach Hamilton in room 109 on Friday during Encore.  For Senior, Junior, and Sophomore track runners, jumpers, and vaulters, please meet with Coach Mohr in room 304 on Friday during Encore.  If you are unable to meet at those times please see Coach Mohr in room 304.

 

The Pro Life club will meet next Thursday during encore in the chapel. Please make plans to be there to learn about some exciting opportunities to help build a Culture of Life.


FRESHMEN:  If you attended last week's meeting with Coach Stein about attending the Exchange Trip to London and Wales this Autumn, the next meeting will be Today FEBRUARY 5th in ROOM 308 at Encore.  If you did not make it to the meeting last week and would like information, please attend.

 

Baptism Class:  If you are a student who has never been baptized and would like to enter the Catholic Church, you can sign up for a class that will meet once a week during the season of Lent, which begins February 18. For more information, see Father Tim

 

Optimist International is offering an essay contest and an oratorical contest to compete for scholarships up to $2500.  More details in the Leadership Center.

 

Vianney Hockey won its last game vs FZS Saturday night 3-2. The Griffins take on FHN tonight, at affton, at 9 PM. COme out and show your support as the team looks to go 3-0 in pool play.
