All this week, Student Council is raising awareness for a deadly set of diseases that affect millions of Americans every year. Today’s special awareness is for Pancreatic Cancer. Here are some of the key things you should know about this form of cancer:

  • About 56,370 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2017
  • About 43,090 will die of pancreatic cancer his year
  • Accounts for about 3% of all cancers and 7% of cancer deaths

Your donations this week will help foster additional research to help stop this deadly disease. Thank you Griffins for your support.

Attention juniors:  If you are taking the ACT in April and would like to take the ACT prep course beforehand, it will begin on Thursday, February 23.  Average score improvement for students who have taken the course is about 4 points.  Please see Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

The last time the Vianney basketball team played a home game….gas was $2.09 a gallon!!! After a six week road trip, the Griffins return to their “lair” on Friday night as they host Chaminade in their annual Paint It Pink Game.  In addition, the state football champions will be recognized at halftime and their state banner displayed.
