Vianney Daily

GOOD MORNING GRIFFINS...

All of the seniors who are Eucharistic Ministers are asked to pick up your schedules this morning from Fr. Tim for tomorrow morning's student body mass. Since we will be distributing ashes, you will also be asked to assist in that process and you can find out where you will be stationed.

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of 40 days of Lent where we are invited to enter into a period of penance and prayer. On Ash Wednesday and on all of the Friday's in Lent, Catholic Christians are asked to not eat meat as a sign of sacrifice,  so we will not be serving meat in the café to be in solidarity with our church. At the Mass tomorrow you will learn about some positive ways you might get more involved with your faith during this holy season.

Attention sophomores: If you haven't completed your bright green course request sheet for junior year, be sure to review it with your parents tonight. Those completed sheets will be required at your individual meetings with either Mrs. Steeg or Mrs. Sodemann beginning tomorrow,February 10th. Please watch the registration video available on the guidance webpage for assistance as you complete the form.

ATTENTION FRESHMEN!! The time has come for you to step up and join the Griffin Guide program. This is an awesome opportunity to show future Griffins how much you have loved your experience so far, and continue to develop your leadership skills...while occasionally get a free lunch in the Griffin Cafe. Check your Vianney email account for a message from Mr. Mulvihill with a link to the online form and faculty recommendation forms. Stop by the admissions office with any questions!

If you volunteered to work at the auction, please go to the advancement office today for your assignment and more information.

If you are a dishwasher or server, there is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, February 10th at 8:30am in the Field House.  Server training is Thursday, February 11th at 2:20pm in the Field House.  Thank you.
