JUNIORS:  Your completed SSP forms are due to Mrs. Mitchell NO LATER THAN TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18.  If special arrangements need to be made, you MUST see her by this Thursday in room 104.  

 

Sophomores & Juniors—if you have met with your counselor about next year’s courses, please go online and enter your choices.  The only way to be registered for next year is to do it online through Skyward.  Online registration closes on February 28.

 

All Students:  The list of student volunteers for the Night of the Griffin Auction and Dinner has been posted outside the Advancement Office.  If you signed up to volunteer please note your assignment and confirm your availability for Saturday night.  Volunteer training will be in the Fieldhouse at 1:50pm on Thursday afternoon.

 

Attention juniors:  Are you taking the ACT in April?  The next two courses start February 26.  If you don't feel like going home after school and coming back in the evening, sign up for the 3 o'clock class.  If you'd like a break between school and class, the regular start time of 6 o'clock is also available.  See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

 

SIU-Edwardsville School of Nursing is hosting an Open House on Saturday from 8-12.  Check out the poster on the Guidance bulletin board.

 

Tennis:  Anyone interested in trying out for tennis this spring will meet with a parent next Thursday at 6:30 in the cafe.

 

RACQUETBALL: The Varsity team will be beating Chaminade today at MAC at 3:30

HISTORY CLUB: "Those who do not know history are destined to repeat it" said Edmund Burke. Andrew Hessi and the History Club met yesterday for a great talk on the future of the club. the NEXT meeting will be Wednesday at 2:45 in room 310. See Hessi or Mr. Lewis for more details.

 

Attention parents of juniors and sophomores--Join Tim Eggelston, the University of Missouri's St. Louis area representative as he presents "College Planning 101" in the Vianney Media Center onThursday, March 6 at 7 pm.  It's not too early to begin college planning!  See you there!

 

The Glendale Kirkwood Kiwanis Club is offering a scholarship to students with extensive community service including school, church, group and individual events. Find out more information on Naviance Family Connection under the colleges tab (scholarship list).  This scholarship is open to ALL Vianney students.
