Mr. Walsh's econ students who were unable to finish their tests yesterday afternoon need to swing by during Encore today.

Juniors & Seniors who still have course request forms out, please get them in to your Counselors by Tuesday morning or you may not necessarily get your first choice courses.

ATTENTION ALL AMBASSADORS: Thursday during Encore All Ambassadors are to meet in the Activity Center for a 15 minute meeting in regards to this weekend's Auction and for other events for the remainder of the school year. Please make sure that you bring a pen and paper to this meeting. Please be prompt so that you will still have time to do other things during Encore. This meeting is extremely important so DO NOT miss it!

ALL JUNIOR SSP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE Feb. 19 -- Tuesday.

Blood Apostles: Any Junior or Senior who is interested in applying to be a Blood Apostle is asked to submit in writing a note to Fr. Tim with your name and reasons. Our next blood drive will be in the season of Lent. More info to come shortly.

ALL LACROSSE PLAYERS: There will be a meeting on TODAY at 3:00 pm in ROOM 204. The meeting will review and finalize tryout procedures and practice schedules. Questions? See Coach Stein.

Attention Juniors:
As a follow up to the information given in the junior class meeting last Friday:
If you are interested in attending Boy's State this summer, please see Ms. Hartz or Mrs. Sodemannn in the Leadership Center.
If you are interested in taking the fast track accounting course this summer, please see Ms. Hartz or Mrs. Sodemann in the Leadership Center.

Any track athlete who missed the sign up and informational meeting last month should see Coach Mohr in room 304 this week. Also this is the last week of conditioning workouts before the season starts on Feb. 25; take advantage of the warmer weather and get an early start on practice. A reminder that all athletes must have a valid physical on file in the main office before they are eligible for practice.

Attention all bowlers: Come to the brief meeting afterschool today in the media center. This is a mandatory meeting, and it will last about five minutes. The sooner you get there, the sooner it will end.

Neighbors Credit Union is offering 4 $1200 scholarships to seniors. Requirements include a list of extracurricular activities, list of academic achievements, and a short essay on the specific topic. More details can be found on the Updates section of Family Connection or see a counselor.

The media center will be closed after school today because of auction set-up.

Griffin Theatre: Griffin Theatre will hold auditions for the spring musical "42nd Street" on Tuesday and Thursday February 19 and 21 at 7pm. 42nd Street has a large cast consisting of 9 principal roles, 12 supporting roles and a large chorus. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to work hard, learn something new and have fun. If you are interested or need more information, see Mr. Book in room 503.

There will be a meeting for all members of the National Honor Society on Thursday, Feb 21, at encore in room 105. Please be prompt, as we will be planning for the annual Food Drive.

The Admissions department is call all freshmen who would like to be Griffin Guides! Show a future Griffin a great day! Applications are available in the Admissions Office, please see Mr. Mulvihill or Mrs. Ploesser with your questions. Applications are due by Friday, Feb. 22.

WEDNESDAY THE VARSITY CHESS TEAM DEFEATED PARKWAY NORTH BY THE SCORE OF 19 TO 11. TIM ELLEBRACHT, ANDREW KREKELER, JACK LYONS AND NIKITA THOMPSON SCORED POINTS FOR THE GRIFFINS. WEDNESDAY THE JUNIOR VARSITY CHESS TEAM DEFEATED THE ALTON VARSITY BY THE SCORE OF 30 TO 0. JORDAN HOOVER, AARON REYNOLDS, TREVOR VOGAN, TIM BOOTH AND MATT KLLEINE WON GAMES FOR VIANNEY.

ALL: Griffin LIFE will next meet on Wednesday, February 20th. Our theme will be "Saints and Heroes of the Faith". Come and celebrate Lent by exploring your faith with food and friends. Wednesday 5:30-7:30.
