CP2 Powers Schlichtig at MBU

From MBU Athletics: "A special scene unfolded Saturday afternoon at the Spartan Baseball field. The Spartans hosted the Clay Pfeiffer Memorial Tournament, in memory of Clay Pfeiffer, a former MBU Baseball player and Vianney grad who was tragically killed in a car accident in February 2012. Clay wore #4 during his time with the Spartans. No other player had worn that number since until Clay's dad put the #4 jersey on Brandon Schlichtig, a HS teammate and friend of Clay's, Friday night at the tournament banquet.

In his first game wearing #4, Schlichtig hit 4th and came to the plate with the bases loaded. On the 4th pitch of the at-bat, Brandon launched the pitch over the fence for a grand slam (4 RBI's). He reached base 4 times for the game. Safe to say #4 had a little help from his buddy Clay on that one!"
