All auction volunteers: If you worked the auction you have the choice of receiving either activity points or service hours. You must see Ms. OConnell in the Griffin Gear Store by Friday, March 15 to indicate which you prefer to receive. Please do this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Due to Explore and Plan testing going on this week and Junior Retreat and Career Day, we will push the Class Meetings back to next week. We will have them on their regular days: Sophomores on Monday, Seniors on Tuesday, Juniors on Thursday and Freshmen on Friday.

Communion Service during Encore: Think about giving up 5 minutes of your Encore time to spend some time with your friend Jesus during this 40 day journey in Lent. . You are invited to the stand up for your faith and come to the communion service this morning.

Youth Leadership St. Louis is recruiting next year's leadership class. Monthly field trips to area venues help the leaders learn about St. Louis and how we all have a stake in the development of our region. Contact any of this year's team to learn of their experience: Nick Allgeyer, Ben Dombrowski, Nikita Thompson, Nick Wojciechowski. Applications may be picked up from Mrs. Sodemann in the Leadership Center. The deadline is March 13. More information will be available at the March sophomore class meeting.

Get your team together for this Saturday's 3-on-3 extravaganza. This just in: the entry fee is $20 per team rather than the previously announced $10 per player. What a deal! The more teams we have, the more excitement there will be. Grab a roster, round up the boys, and let's have fun on Saturday.

Griffin LIFE meeting will be for leaders only this week on Thursday right after school.

For the past two years Vianney service club has done the Easter Egg Hunt Project for Whole Kids Outreach. The project requires us to stuff plastic eggs with prizes. The tradition will continue next Monday, the 11th, after school in the leadership center. It's always and EGGcellent and an EGGciting time. If you are interested to help with this project on Monday the 11th after school in the leadership center Please see Nikita Thompson.

The Annual Vianney Food drive will conclude this Friday. Our goal is to collect 5000 cans of food for Operation Food Search, which supplies food pantries in the St. Louis area. Please bring canned food items to your A period class on Friday and National Honor Society members will come by to pick them up.

The following college reps will be on campus over the next several days. You can register to visit with them online. Please register at least a day in advance.

Stingy defense and a balanced scoring attack were keys to the varsity basketball team's 44-37 victory over Troy last night in the state sectional round. The win advances the Griffins to the state quarterfinals on Saturday vs. McCluer North. The game is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. at Lindenwood University. Thanks to all the Griffinmaniacs for their support last night. Come back on Saturday and bring a friend!!!
