All auction volunteers: If you worked the auction you have the choice of receiving either activity points or service hours. You must see Ms. OConnell in the Griffin Gear Store by Friday, March 15 to indicate which you prefer to receive. Please do this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Class Meetings are this week: Sophomores on Monday, Seniors on Tuesday, Juniors on Thursday and Freshmen on Friday.

Communion Service during Encore: Think about giving up 5 minutes of your Encore time to spend some time with your friend Jesus during this 40 day journey in Lent. . You are invited to the stand up for your faith and come to the communion service this morning.

For the past two years Vianney service club has done the Easter Egg Hunt Project for Whole Kids Outreach. The project requires us to stuff plastic eggs with prizes. The tradition will continue today, after school in the leadership center. It's always and EGGcellent and an EGGciting time. If you are interested to help with this project today after school in the leadership center Please see Nikita Thompson.

The following college reps will be on campus over the next several days. You can register to visit with them online. Please register at least a day in advance.

Participate in the 40 Day for Life Vigil: One week from today on March 15 Vianney will have students praying in front of the abortion clinic from 7:am - 7:pm. Please pick up a permission form and arrange a time with Mr. Kheriaty or Fr. Tim. Students who participate must be in good standing with the school and obtain permission from your teachers and your parents. The final list and times will be determined later this week

The March edition of the Griffin newspaper will be published next week. Writers, Editors and Layout staff need to see Mr. Burke as soon as possible.

There will be a golf meeting at encore in Room 306 for all golfers but sophomores! Sophomores check Coach O's door for playing groups!

Griffin LIFE will meet on Wednesday 3/13 this week from 5:30-7:30. Please join us.

Sacrament of REconciliation: All 14 religion classes will participate in the sacrament of reconciliation. If you do not have a religion class this semester and you would like to go to confession, please make an arrangement with one of your teachers. We will offer confession every period in chapel on Monday and Tuesday.

SATURDAY THE CHESS TEAMS COMPETED IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT IN JEFFERSON CITY. THE VARSITY TEAM PLACED SECOND. ANDREW KREKELER, WITH A PERFECT 4 AND O RECORD, AND TIM ELLEBRACHT, ALEX MOELLERING, JACK LYONS, AARON REYNOLDS, EACH WITH 3 WINS OUT OF 4 GAMES WON INDIVIDUAL AWARDS. THE FRESHMAN TEAM OF DAN OWENSBY, NATHAN MITTENZWEY, ALEX FOLEY AND JOHN BRENNAN P[LACED SECOND IN THE NINTH GRADE AND UNDER DIVISION.

You've heard about it all last week. Today, after school in the leadership center, will be the Easter Egg hunt project. So come one down after school and do some great service while cracking each other up with yokes.
