Communion Services during Encore: You are invited to think about attending a communion service during Encore for Lent. Take 5 minutes to spend with God and pray for someone else.
Blood Apostles: If you are a Junior or Senior in good standing with the school; doing well in your studies; have or will give blood this Lent at our Lenten drive; care about how you can put your faith into action; and seeking to do something special for others, than apply to be a Blood Apostle. We need 12-15 apostles to work on the Lenten Blood Drive which will begin when we return from Spring break. Please see Father Tim.
No guitar club after school today due to a schedule conflict. We will meet up again on the Thursday after spring break!
STUCO: STUCO is hosting a FRESHMAN mixer Friday night here at Vianney. Bring your lady friends and have a good time at the last mixer of the year! Cost is $2 at the door.
Did your first choice spring sport fizzle out a bit? Still have an itch to compete. Coach Fry always said "Scratch where it itches". Come out for Griffin Track and Field. We are a non-cut sport, but you need to hurry. You must speak to Coach Mohr, Coach Bishop, Coach Scanlon if you are a runner or jumper, or Coach Hamilton for throwers before the end of the day on Thursday.
The West Point Society and Parents Club of St. Louis invites all interested high school students and their parents to a presentation on the West Point Admissions Process by retired Colonel Frank Janoski on Tuesday, April 15th at 7 pm at Algonquin Golf Club. Attention parents: Mark your calendar to attend the spring Parent's Club meeting on Thursday, March 27 at 7pm in the Griffin cafe. The featured speaker will be a representative from the athletic department from SIU-E presenting information on the NCAA and eligibility requirements. New eligibility requirements begin with the class of 2016. Come check it out!
Freshmen volleyball still has a few spots available. Tryouts are continuing until the spots are filled. Practice/Tryouts from 3:30-5:00.
MILITARY HISTORY: Current Sophomores and Juniors. If you are interested in the military history course this summer TODAY is the last day you can sign up on the advanced list which is located at room 310. Over spring break, assignments for this year's Special Olympics events will be generated. First priority will be given to dues paying members of the Letterman's Club. We will need participants from all four classes. See Mr. C. Walsh for more details.
3 On 3 hoops is coming! You may have four players on your team. Here's the deal: A team may have only one varsity basketball player. A team may have two JV or Freshman players. A team could have one varsity player and one JV or Freshman. There will be no restrictions on alumni. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics. Roster can be found in room 305.
