The Griffin Roar

Tuesday, March 14:

Seniors, you have your class meeting today during Encore in the Cure of Ars Chapel.  A representative from Andre’s will be here today to go over tux rentals for prom, so be sure to get there quickly.

There will be a spring athletic apostles meeting on Wednesday, March 15 at 8:00 in room PE. All spring apostles should plan on attending.

On Friday, the Varsity Lacrosse team defeated Seckman 18-3. Scoring was lead by Seniors Tim Babb, Connor Mallett and Dan McCauley who combined for 12 goals! Addition offensive firepower came from Jordon Celeslie, Brian Hollemeyer and Joe Mirbaha.

The JV Lacrosse fell to Seckman in a nail-biter on Friday 9-8. The Griffins fought hard right up to the very end.

The Lacrosse program takes on Francis Howell on Wednesday night. JV 5:30/Varsity 7:30

Please support our Lenten Blood Drive tomorrow, a great way to make a sacrifice for someone else and come closer to God. Sign up in campus ministry or with any of the Blood Apostles. Any student who is 16 or older can give. If you are 16, you need to complete the Parent Permission Form on line. Everyone will need to know the last four digits of your social security number. A draft of the appointments will be posted at Encore.

All Blood Apostles should have turned in your appointments to Fr. Tim by now. If you have not, please bring them down at this time to campus ministry. We need to submit the appointment list to Mercy Hospital this morning.

Would the following students please see Coach Stein in ROOM 404 at Encore:         Nick Weppner, Jack Breheny, Kaylum Furlow, Tanner Placke, Aidan Reilly, Matt Bullerdick, Nathan Szewczyn, Scott Mosbacher and John McKinney

The Vianney Prolife Club will be participating in the 40 Days for Life prayer vigil to end abortion in St. Louis. Our big day is the Tuesday after Spring Break, so we need to get organized this week. Please consider joining us as we stand up for the unborn. To sign up, or for more information, please attend the Prolife meeting Thursday at encore in room 109.

The week after Spring Break STUCO will be holding our annual Spring Spirit Week. Dress up days and food will be offered all week. In addition an Art contest will be held throughout the week for a grand prize at the end of the week. If you are interested in submitting artwork, see Ms. Judge by the end of the week.

The Vianney Investment Club will be meeting Thursday after school in room 310. See Andrew Townsend if you have any questions.

There are no student birthdays to celebrate today, so those are your Tuesday announcements.  Make it a great day to be a Griffin.
