The freshman Black baseball team improved to 6-1 with a win over Borgia on Saturday. Matt Mebruer had two doubles and two RBIs, Joe Louis picked up the win, and Griffin John recorded the save.
Vianney STUCO would like to thank ALL the students, faculty, and staff for supporting the Spring Spirit Week especially the Talent Show. If you have any ideas for future events please tell a STUCO rep.
There is one more day left if you would like to donate any clothes for the poor as part of our Lenten theme, “Lead me to the cross”. All of the clothes and canned goods collected will be delivered tomorrow by students going on the Lenten retreat. Just leave the items outside of chapel.
Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball team on a great showing in the always tough Midwest Classic. The ended up as runner up’s following a 4-2 loss to Summit in the Championship Game on Saturday at Francis Howell. In the semifinals they took down the previously unbeaten and #1 small school Westminster Wildcats 3-0. Tommy Kraus, Andrew Keck and Luke Mann were named to the All-Tournament team, while Luke Mann was also named Most Outstanding Pitcher of the Tournament. The Varsity Griffins are 9-3 on the year and open up MCC play tomorrow when they take on the Chaminade Red Devils. That game is slated for Chaminade, but could be moved to Vianney if it rains too much.
Congrats to the Vianney Bowling team who placed 1st in their Conference tournament and will one of only 24 teams to compete in the Missouri State Bowling Championship on April 29th.

The Vianney Investment Club will hold a guest speaker on Investment strategy in the 21st century this Thursday, April 6th after school in the Media Center. See Mr. Lewis or Andrew Townsend if you are interested.

The entire track team (throwers included) need to meet at the pavilion today at 1:30 pm for a brief meeting before practice. Please be prompt.
Yearbook pictures will be taken tomorrow during encore in the commons for : All Honor Societies: National, Science, German, Spanish, Theater and Math along with Mock Trial and The Investment Club.
