TUESDAY, APRIL 3RD

Seniors--If you are enrolled in the A+ Program, you must turn your service hours in to Mr. Matreci by Friday, April 13.  Also, seniors, Andre’s will be here tomorrow for tux fitting. You need to sign up in the office today to get a time slot for tomorrow’s fitting.

Last Tuesday, the freshman, JV, and Varsity volleyball teams all defeated Eureka in two sets. The next night, all three levels won at Lindbergh. Today, we host CBC. Freshman at 4, JV at 5, and varsity scheduled for 6. Come cheer on our home opener!

The freshman Black baseball team braved the ice-covered field to sweep Alton in a double header yesterday morning. Nick Eppy and Brayden Holder were the winning pitchers. Jack Bollinger scored five runs and Roman Graiff drove in four.

The Varsity Griffin Track team hopes to begin their season after last week’s rainouts at the Webster Groves Invitational beginning at 4:00 pm.  The JV begins Thursday also at Webster Groves. Anyone not competing today will have practice after school at 3:00 pm.

The Varsity Lacrosse team improved to an impressive 6-1 start for the season by beating Ladue 9-2 last week.  It was an outstanding defensive team effort with strong goaltending from Sudholt, and offensive contributions from Mirbaha with 4 total points, and 3 goals each from Williams and Celeslie.

The JV team moved to 2-2 with a tough loss and final score of 7-6, lead by 3 goals from Barcom.

MCC conference play starts today(4/3) against SLUH at the HEEB.  JV starts at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:30. Come out and support the team as they take their fast start against strong MCC competition!

The Politics Club will meet in room 500 during Encore on Thursday.

Jazz band will meet during encore today.
