On Saturday, April 13, senior Oliver Layher will be competing in the Finals of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition at the Fox Theatre at 8:00 pm.  Tickets for the show are free and can be picked up from Mr. Matreci in the Leadership Center.

There is a mandatory meeting for ALL JUNIOR NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS today during Encore in room 302.  Please be prompt.

Yearbook pictures will be taken during Encore on Monday, April 15, in the Commons, for the Lettermen’s Club, All Athletic Apostles from Fall, Winter and Spring Sports teams, Griffin LIFE, Racquetball, Bowling and Bocce teams.

You can play chess at encore today in room 209.  All chess team players should see Mr. Baur during encore for details regarding the awards dinner.

Results from yesterday’s field events at the Webster Invitational.  CJ Bossert 1st in shot put, 4th in discus. Dan St. Louis 2nd in shot put, 3rd in discus and 6th in javelin. On the JV side Ethan Coles won both the shot put and discus.  Other medalists include Mark Meyers shot put, Chris Hruz in pole vault, Jake Kellar in high jump and Tyler Trueman in triple jump.

A reminder that this afternoon in the baseball game against the Cadets we are having Cancer Awareness/Charlie Morgan day at the park.  Come on out and support your Griffins Baseball team as we recognize and show our support of Charlie in his fight against Cancer.

Tomorrow is a DRESS DOWN day for the National Honor Society Lenten Can Food Drive.  Please bring in 5 non-perishable food items in order to participate. NHS members will be collecting cans in the Commons before school.

The Varsity Golf Team defeated Desmet yesterday 242-246. Josh Kleinhieder and Patrick Ringwald had the low scores of 37 and 38.

Tonight is opening night for Griffin Theatre’s production of Guys & Dolls. Tickets are $4 for students. Curtain time is at 7:30 pm.
