Reminder that the volleyball teams take their pictures after school tomorrow at 3 pm in the fieldhouse. Bring your uniforms.

Any CURRENT FRESHMAN who is interested in traveling to IRELAND in OCTOBER (and has not already seen Coach Stein) please see Coach Stein in ROOM 305 after school today.

Juniors who are going on retreat next week will have a meeting tomorrow at Encore in the Field House.

There will be a Junior Class Meeting on Thursday April 19th.  After the meeting, Mr. Sargent needs all JUNIOR NHS members to stay behind to discuss Presidential Elections.

Bocce!  Bocce! Bocce!  ANYONE interested in playing bocce next fall--experienced players or new--we will have a meeting on Tues., April 24 in Rm. 107 during Encore.  If you have any interest at all, feel free to attend. If you can’t attend, please see Mr. Alexander.

The freshman Black baseball team defeated Chaminade yesterday 15-0 in their second straight one-hitter, this one started by Brayden Holder. Max Clark was the defensive standout, gobbling up everything hit his way at third base. Jack Bollinger, Riley Clancy, Roman Graiff, and Ryan Carolan all had two hits.

The sophomore baseball team beat Parkway South 20-5.  The offense was a team effort with 6 players having multiple hits.  Two highlights were Sam Altobella with a homerun and Hunter Koenig with 4 RBIs.  

The Griffin Throwers stepped up again yesterday at the SLUH Open meet.  Event winners were Dan St. Louis in the Javelin and Luke Brooks in the discus but the Griffs swept the top 6 Discus and took places 5 of the top 7  in the shot put. Hans Mohr was 2nd in the vault

IT’S THROWBACK THURSDAY: The lacrosse team is back at it tonight at The Heeb! JV and Varsity will take on Belleville at 5:30/7:30. There will be FREE BBQ hotdogs served pre-game and there will be a raffle for Chipotle and Canes gift cards for those in the stands.

Special Olympics is right around the corner. If you haven’t signed up, head to Mrs. Thompson’s webpage for the link or scan a QR code around the school. We are about halfway to the number of volunteers we need to make this event a success
