Tomorrow is a dress up day for everyone.

 

From STUCO:

1. Final Day to Sign up for Junior Ring is next Wednesday April 16th

2. Prom Forms are now Available in the Main Office and in the Gear Store. Please fill it out and Return to Mr. Lewis in 310 by April 25th

 

There will be a spring Athletic Apostles meeting on Wednesday, April 16 at 8:00 in room 500.

 

For those juniors who are interested in taking a campus visit to Missouri S&T, please see Mr. Lantz to sign up. The trip is scheduled for April 29th. We will leave by bus around 7AM and return around 3PM. There are a limited number of seats available.

 

Attention juniors: the last ACT course of the year starts on Wednesday. If you'd like to sign up, please do it soon. Average score improvement is between 3 and 4 points.

 

The inaugural St. John Vianney Literary & Art Journal (The Mag) is now accepting submissions from now until April 21st.  Please see posted guidelines around the school or in room 302.  Or simply come talk to Mr. Sargent for more information.  We are looking for finely-crafted submissions of: short-fiction, essays, poetry, art, photography.

 

Attention juniors and sophomores and their parents:  Maryville University is hosting a college fair on Sunday, April 27 from 1-3 pm in the Simon Center.  Representatives from over 100 schools will be in attendance.  Pre-register and get a barcode at:  gotocollegefairs.com.  See your counselor for more information or check out the posters around the building.

 

Calling all Sophomores and Juniors, were you an Ambassador last year or would you like to be one? Now is the time to apply for next year, this is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a select group of men that are proud to be Griffins. Applications are available in the Admissions office. Please see Mr. Brown if you have any questions.

 

ALL LACROSSE PLAYERS:  If you have not gotten one, team photo order forms are available in ROOM 308.  Please pick up
one TODAY.  Photos are scheduled TODAY at 4:00.  Please meet in the Commons.

TODAY the Varsity lacrosse team takes on John Burroughs at The Heeb.  That night's game will benefit the HEADstrong Foundation. The HEADstrong Foundation is committed to being a resource for blood cancer patients and their families. Dedicated to assist them navigate the harrowing ordeal of cancer by sharing our experience, lending guidance and providing essential services wit h emphasis placed on sustaining and improving quality of life during the process.

Come out to support the Griffins as they take on the Bombers tonight.  Game time is scheduled for 6:30.

 

Any National Honor Society member who has done tutoring for either of the past two semesters should get their information to Mr. Redman by Tuesday.

 

After playing  3 1/2 hours on Friday and 7 1/2 hour of playing in the Holt Tennis Tournament on Saturday, the Griffin Tennis team took third place out of 16 teams. A great job was done by  Kevin Henschel, Matt Sapienza,Sean Meyer, Max Mangum, Joe LaMartina, Adam Hark, and Ty Borst.  The team is scheduled to play Kirkwood today, CBC on Tuesday, and Chaminade on Wednesday.
