1.  Junior Unity Mass this Friday: this Friday the class of 2015 will come together for a special evening of prayer with Mass and a blessing as they prepare to be leaders of the school next year. Anyone interested in assisting with the Mass should see Fr. Tim. We welcome all parents and friends of the class of 2015 to join us for this wonderful ceremony. 

 

2.  Retreat Sign Up's for Next Year:  all Sophomores who will be Juniors next year and all juniors who will be seniors next year are asked to register for your retreat on line. Simply go to the Vianney Web site and click on campus ministry/retreats and choose a date that will fit into your schedule. Each retreat is limited to so many people until the registration closes. Please do this in the next two weeks with a deadline of May 2nd. If you have any questions on the retreat dates please see Fr. Tim or Mr. Remiger.

Prom Forms are now available in the Main Office and in the Gear Store. Please fill it out and Return to Mr. Lewis in 310 by April 25th

 

From Guidance:

  1. Attention juniors and sophomores and their parents:  Maryville University is hosting a college fair on Sunday, April 27 from 1-3 pm in the Simon Center.  Representatives from over 100 schools will be in attendance.  Pre-register and get a barcode at:  gotocollegefairs.com.  See your counselor for more information or check out the posters around the building.

 

  1. Interested in Criminal Justice or Forensics as a career?  Lindenwood University is hosting a Criminal Justice Summer Institute June 9-11.  Cost is $175 or $275.  See a counselor in the Leadership Center for more information.

 

Video Game Tournament -- Wednesday, April 30. 

 

Special Olympics:  The new Special Olympics roster is now posted outside of room 305 and 105.  New additions are included.  Please check the roster and let us know of any problems.  We can accept other volunteers to be subs in the event that someone is absent on April 28th, the date of our Special Olympics.  Our next meeting will be on Friday April 25th in the field house.  Don't forget you sunscreen on the day of the event.   Happy Easter!.

 

STUCO: Are you interested in serving your Vianney community? Join STUCO to help plan and conduct all the great events you experience all year! The information meeting for all STUCO candidates is TODAY in room 310 during encore. Join STUCO, make a difference!

 

Last Wednesday the Varsity golf team came in 6th place out 22 teams at the Fort Zumwalt South "Bulldog Battle" at Winghaven. The Griffs were led by Mason Brobeck and mike Lynch's 81's.

Last Thursday the Varsity golf team finished tied for 4th with CBC at the Conference Golf Tournament. The Griffs were led by Logan Spies medalist score of 78 and Nick Estopare's 82.

Yesterday the Varsity golf team finished 8th out of 21 teams at the Webster Cup. The Griffs were led by Nick Estopare's medalist score of 76 and Mason Brombeck's 82. 

Today the varsity plays CBC at Sunset Hills GC in its last home dual match.

 

There will be a summer basketball sign up meeting for any sophomore or junior interested in earning a position on the varsity basketball team on Wednesday at 8:40 a.m. in room 303.
There will be a summer basketball meeting for freshman on Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m.

The JV track team travels to Webster Groves once again for their invitational today beginning at 4:00 pm.  Athletes should check the track board for events and meet near senior lot for carpooling at 3:00 pm.
