Seniors:  Thursday, May 1 isGraduation Practice & College Pride Day--Wear your college/university polo, tshirt, sweatshirt, etc. on that day. 


Seniors- Your College Information Report & Scholarship Reporting Sheet (orange & green forms) are due to the Leadership Center by Wed. April 30th! We need this information for the graduation program. Don't forget to include a copy of all scholarship offer letters! Questions? See your counselor. 


The Senior Ambassadors who are working the JR. RING MASS Friday evening are reminded that the Mass is AT VIANNEY.  You need to report by 6:00 pm to pick up your tie from Mr. Brown's office.  Please make sure that the rest of your Ambassador attire is cleaned and ironed this evening.


Junior Unity Mass this Friday: this Friday the class of 2015 will come together for a special evening of prayer with Mass and a blessing as they prepare to be leaders of the school next year. Anyone interested in assisting with the Mass should see Fr. Tim. We welcome all parents and friends of the class of 2015 to join us for this wonderful ceremony. 


Retreat Sign Up's for Next Year:  all Sophomores who will be Juniors next year and all juniors who will be seniors next year are asked to register for your retreat on line. Simply go to the Vianney Web site and click on campus ministry/retreats and choose a date that will fit into your schedule. Each retreat is limited to so many people until the registration closes. Please do this in the next two weeks with a deadline of May 2nd. If you have any questions on the retreat dates please see Fr. Tim or Mr. Remiger. 



Prom Forms are now available in the Main Office and in the Gear Store. Please fill it out and Return to Mr. Lewis in 310 today.


From Guidance:

  1. Attention juniors and sophomores and their parents:  Maryville University is hosting a college fair on Sunday, April 27 from 1-3 pm in the Simon Center.  Representatives from over 100 schools will be in attendance.  Pre-register and get a barcode at:  gotocollegefairs.com.  See your counselor for more information or check out the posters around the building.


  1. Interested in Criminal Justice or Forensics as a career?  Lindenwood University is hosting a Criminal Justice Summer Institute June 9-11.  Cost is $175 or $275.  See a counselor in the Leadership Center for more information.


Special Olympics: Remember we meet today in the field house at Encore.  


Athletic Apostles:  There will be a spring athletic apostles meeting on Wednesday, April 30 at 8:00 a.m. in room 500.


The South County Chamber of Commerce is offering a scholarship for those students with a strong background in volunteering and in activities outside of school.  All Vianney students are eligible to apply.  The amount of the scholarship will probably between $500-$1000.  See a counselor in the Leadership Center for more information. 


Video Game Tournament: Next Wednesday, April 30.  3:00 to 5:30.  Sign up in the Tech Center.  


Tech Club: Interested in programming video games? Designing Artificial Intelligence? Stop by the Tech Center at 2:45 this Friday for a conversation with Alex Nisnevich, graduate student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, to talk about his comp sci path and latest video game, Untrusted.  Check out his work at alex.nisnevich.com 


National Honor Society:  There will be a meeting for all senior members of the National Honor Society in room 105 on Tuesday, April 29.

The Vianney tennis team lost to Oakville yesterday.Griffin winners were Kevin Henschel and Joe LaMartina in singles, and the doubles teams of Kevin Henschel and Matt Sapienza and Joe Lamartina and Adam Hark. The team plays tomorrow morning at 9 am against DeSmet at Chaminade.


The varsity baseball game against Francis Howell Central was suspended in the top of the 5th inning yesterday with the Griffins up 12-7.  The game will be picked up from that point next Thursday.


The volleyball teams both beat SLUH last night--JV-won in 3 and Varsity-won in 2.
