Mrs. Sabatino and I are in need of Ambassadors to volunteer for this Saturday’s Bellarmine Speech Competition.  Please come in this morning following announcements to volunteer. Please do not make us beg.

If you are a freshman, sophomore, or junior and interested in playing basketball next year, there is a meeting on Wednesday morning at 8:40 a.m. in the Fieldhouse to discuss Summer Basketball Plans at Vianney.  Questions...see Coach Walsh

JV and varsity volleyball each defeated Cape Notre Dame in two sets. Tonight, the volleyball teams host DeSmet. Freshman at 4, JV at 5, and Varsity at 6. Come support your volleyball program!

The Vianney Ultimate team made a little bit of history yesterday by defeating DeSmet 15-9, improving their record to 5-2 and locking up the 1st winning season in program history!

Yearbook Pictures for the following groups will be taken in the commons on Friday during Encore: Chess, Paintball, Photo Club, Ultimate Frisbee, BBQ Club, Bright Flight winners, Scholar Bowl and World Quest Teams.

Anyone interested in playing Bocce next fall should attend a meeting in Room 107 tomorrow at Encore.

Any Junior interested in participating in the Junior Unity Mass on Friday night, please see Fr. Tim. The newly elected officers are also asked to see Fr. Tim today for your participation in the Mass.

Results from yesterday’s Jim Farrell Invitational: Chris Tabourne is the 110mHH champion!  Chris also earned silver medal in the triple jump with a career best mark. Luke Brooks earned a silver medal in the shot put and placed in the discus.  Alex Moore earned bronze in the javelin and placed in the high jump. Kai Panethiere placed in the shot put and Hans Mohr placed in the pole vault. The team hosts a number of schools tomorrow in another big meet. Congratulations to all who competed and thank you to all who helped make the meet run so smoothly.

Any Senior interested in participating in the Senior Mother Son Mass are asked to see Fr. Tim or Mr. Remiger sometime today.


The JV golf team won their fourth consecutive match yesterday defeating St. Dominic by the score of 173-196! JT Mossinghoff and Evan Lovera tied for the medalist honors with a score of 39!

Sophomore baseball beat Desmet 6-2.  Nathan Beaton pitched 6 and third innings allowing 2 runs striking out 7.  John Allen recorded the save. Max Luna and Nick Niemeier led the offense.

The varsity baseball team defeated DeSmet yesterday 4-1 to move to 6-0 in MCC play and 24-1 overall.  The win also clinched at least a share for the MCC title which means that for the first time in the history of the conference a baseball team has won the title 5 years in a row.  This is also the 12th title for the Griffins

Varsity Lacrosse lost in a tight game against DeSmet last night 8-6. Big offensive contributions came from Collin Baliva and Josh Williams. Noah Sudholt was a brick wall with 12 saves on the night.

JV lacrosse defeated DeSmet 9-8 in a HUGE MCC win. Cannon Barcom had 3 goals including the game winner.

Congratulations to the four Juniors who won STUCO elections yesterday. On thursday during encore all students will hear Grant Atwood, Jonathan McMahon, Lucas Sturma, and PJ Wuennenberg give speeches to earn the position of Student Body President.

The Vianney investment club is holding its last meeting of the year on thursday after school in room 310. We will discuss our summer portfolio and elect new leadership for the next year. Please see Derek Book or Andrew Chapman for any questions
