D period teachers will read the New Mandatory Encore Lists this morning.


JUNIORS who will be doing SSP at the VA Hospital—please meet at the Main Office at 9:30 to arrange carpools for this morning’s meeting at the hospital.


Any student in an AP class this semester who did not complete the pre-registration with Mr. Matreci last week should report to his office at Encore this morning to complete that process prior to next week’s testing.


Seniors:  Volunteers needed for upcoming Masses: If you are interested in participating in the upcoming Senior Mother Son Mass or your Baccalaureate Mass, please see Fr. Tim for possibilities. Thank you.


Dylan Robb please see Mr. Redman in room 105 sometime today.


Stuco Elections:

This is a reminder that during  ENCORE today, the Student Council will be hosting student body speeches and elections.  Students NOT assigned to Mandatory Encore will report directly to the following locations:

Juniors - Fieldhouse

Sophomores - Cafe

Freshmen - Activity Center


Eucharistic Ministers: Juniors in the Class of 2015 who are Catholic and want to be faith leaders in your senior year  may apply to help distribute communion at our student body masses and special events masses. Write a one page essay and submit by Friday of this week, May 2nd.


Seniors:  Thursday, May 1 isGraduation Practice & College Pride Day--Wear your college/university polo, tshirt, sweatshirt, etc. on that day. 


Seniors- Your College Information Report & Scholarship Reporting Sheet (orange & green forms) are due to the Leadership Center by TOMORROW! We need this information for the graduation program. Don't forget to include a copy of all scholarship offer letters! Questions? See your counselor. 


Retreat Sign Ups for Next Year:  All Sophomores who will be Juniors next year and all juniors who will be seniors next year are asked to register for your retreat on line. Simply go to the Vianney Web site and click on campus ministry/retreats and choose a date that will fit into your schedule. Each retreat is limited to so many people until the registration closes. Please do this in the next two weeks with a deadline of May 2nd. If you have any questions on the retreat dates please see Fr. Tim or Mr. Remiger. 


Athletic Apostles:  There will be a spring athletic apostles meeting TOMORROW at 8:00 a.m. in room 500.


Video Game Tournament: Tomorrow from 3:00 to 5:30.  Sign up in the Tech Center.  

Tech Club:  This week we visit the T-Rex building in downtown St. Louis, home to a number of tech startup companies. Stop by the Tech Center to pick up a permission slip.

National Honor Society:  There will be a meeting for all senior members of the National Honor Society in room 105 today.


Sophomores and Freshmen:  A yearbook photo will be taken today during Encore for those students who scored in the top 10% on the PLAN and EXPLORE.  Check the lists posted on the Leadership Center doors for your name.  Please report to the Commons at the beginning of Encore on Tuesday.  See you counselor if you have questions.

The Griffin track and field team hosts the 7th Annual Jim Farrell Invitational today beginning at 4:00 pm.  This is one of the more competitive meets of the season with several of the area's best teams.  Athletes and workers are reminded to be ready and to meet in the pavilion at 3:15 today.


The VARSITY and JV LACROSSE TEAMS take on Parkway West today at Parkway West Middle School.  Varsity starts at4:30 and JV at 6:30.  MAPS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE MAIN OFFICE.

 For the past 4 years 11 dedicated seniors have committed themselves to the success of the Vianney lacrosse program.  This Saturday afternoon, before your Kentucky Derby viewing, come out to honor these remarkable young men as the team takes on the Webster Groves Statesmen.  Game time is 2:00 at The Heeb.
