Today is the final day for all senior privileges.  Seniors return to regular dress code tomorrow.


Friday is a dress  up day for everyone—we will follow the Liturgy schedule for the Senior Honors Convocation.


Juniors:  There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday for ALL Juniors, including those in Mandatory Encore, during Encore in the Fieldhouse.  This meeting will be to go over all the last minute details for your SSP Project and to get you signed up on Schoology so that you may be able to fill out your blogs properly.


Everyone is invited to attend the Spring Band Concert this Sunday, may 4, at 7:00 pm in the Activity Center.  Come out and show your support for our fine Griffin Musicians.


Yearbook pictures for Scholar Bowl and Bright Flight Scholarship winners will be taken during Encore Thursday in the Commons.


Seniors:  Volunteers needed for upcoming Masses: If you are interested in participating in the upcoming Senior Mother Son Mass or your Baccalaureate Mass, please see Fr. Tim for possibilities. Thank you.


Eucharistic Ministers: Juniors in the Class of 2015 who are Catholic and want to be faith leaders in your senior year  may apply to help distribute communion at our student body masses and special events masses. Write a one page essay and submit by Friday of this week, May 2nd.


Seniors:  Tomorrow isGraduation Practice & College Pride Day--Wear your college/university polo, tshirt, sweatshirt, etc. on that day.  Practice will be held at 1:20—you will be called to the field house from class.


Seniors- Your College Information Report & Scholarship Reporting Sheet (orange & green forms) are due to the Leadership Center  TODAY!  We need this information for the graduation program. Don't forget to include a copy of all scholarship offer letters! Questions? See your counselor. 


Retreat Sign Ups for Next Year:  All Sophomores who will be Juniors next year and all juniors who will be seniors next year are asked to register for your retreat on line. Simply go to the Vianney Web site and click on campus ministry/retreats and choose a date that will fit into your schedule. Each retreat is limited to so many people until the registration closes. Please do this in the next two weeks with a deadline of May 2nd. If you have any questions on the retreat dates please see Fr. Tim or Mr. Remiger. 


Video Game Tournament: Today  from 3:00 to 5:30.  Sign up in the Tech Center.  

Tech Club:  This week we visit the T-Rex building in downtown St. Louis, home to a number of tech startup companies. Stop by the Tech Center to pick up a permission slip.

The annual Vianney Architecture Night will be Thursday at 7:00pm in the Leadership Center.  Anyone may attend to watch the seniors present their final projects to a panel of professional architects.  This semester's project was to design a residence hall for the University of Missouri located across the street from Faurot Field. 


Bike Collection Drive:  The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (our neighbor) is sponsoring a bike drive to collect adult and children's bicycles. If your family has a bike that you'd like to donate you can drop them off in their parking lot today or tomorrow.


The tennis team lost a close match yesterday 4-5 to Summit. Winners for the Griffins were Sean Meyer, Matt Sapienza, and Joe LaMartina in singles and the doubles team of Sean Meyer and Joe LaMartina.

The team plays today at Mehlville.


The varsity baseball team defeated DeSmet yesterday 9-4 and the JV team defeated DeSmet 3-0.


The Jim Farrell Invitational saw some of the most balanced competition we have seen this year.  Event placers for the Griffins are Garrett Lipic in the 400, Justin Summers in the shot put, Alex Horn in the pole vault, Alex Reyes and Joe Winkelmann in the discus and the 2nd place medalists Justin Summers, Spencer Peterson, Joe Winkelmann, and Jake Langenfeld in the shot put relay.


VARSITY LACROSSE got a HUGE win over the Parkway West Longhorns 18-10 yesterday.  The Grifs outscored the Horns 12-2 in the second half.  Scoring was led by Senior attackman Connor Eskridge with 10 goals while Matt Mueller posted 23 saves on the day.  A late game highlight was a beautifully placed assist from Junior Nick Freund to Dave Eilermann for the goal.  The Griffins next take on the Webster Groves Statesmen Saturday MAY 3rd at 2:00 at The Heeb for SENIOR DAY.

For the past 4 years 11 dedicated seniors have committed themselves to the success of the Vianney lacrosse program.  This Saturday afternoon, before your Kentucky Derby viewing, come out to honor these remarkable young men as the team takes on the Webster Groves Statemen.  Game time is 2:00 at The Heeb.

FRESHMAN LACROSSE:  Today's game against CBC will be played at CBC Stadium at 4:30 pm.
