Friday is a dress up day for all students for the senior honors convocation. Seniors have a full day of classes.

Graduation practice for the seniors will take place during C period on Thursday.

Juniors & Seniors -- all library materials are now overdue. Please return all materials to the library as soon as possible.

The Concert Band will present its annual Spring Concert on Sunday, May 5, at 7:00 pm in the Activity Center. Selections will include marches, overtures, music from the Broadway stage, patriotic music and music from other cultures. Make plans to join us for a great evening of music.

There will be a short meeting during Encore tomorrow for the Juniors to vote for Mu Alpha Theta officers for the 2013/14 school year. Also, seniors please stop by to pick up your honor cords for graduation, etc.

ALL: This week, Griffin LIFE will have our final regular meeting tonight. Also, permission forms are now available from the Campus Ministry for the Griffin LIFE Lock-In on the last day of school.

Attention juniors and sophomores and their parents: An Exploring College Options information session with admissions representatives from Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn and Stanford will be held on Monday, May 13 at 7:30 pm at the Hilton Saint Louis Airport hotel, 10330 Natural Bridge Road. There will be a meeting for any freshman interested in summer basketball opportunities at Vianney on Thursday morning at 7:20 in room 303.

Senior Mother-Son Mass and Baccalaureate Mass: Any senior interested in assisting at either of these two Masses is asked to see Fr. Tim sometime this week. We are looking for seniors who will help with processions; reading prayers; readers; etc.

The varsity tennis team defeated St. Mary's yesterday 9-0. Singles winners were Giel Vandeborne, Kevin Henschel, Tony Price, Matt Sappienza, Alex Feicht, and Sean Meyer. Doubles winners were Vanderborne and Henschel, Price and Feicht, and Sapienza and Max Mangum. The team plays at Creve Coeur Racket Club today against Whitfield.

The Varsity Lacrosse team took down the Ladue Rams last night at The Heeb 7-6. Stifling defense was poured on by the "Killer B's", Brauer, Burton and Brown, with a solid performance between the pipes for Nick Bonastia. The absolutely tireless midfield play kept their opponents on the their heels throughout the night. The attack unit of Harvatin, Eskridge and Garth spread the scoring around, each getting 2 goals and Junior Dave Eilermann unleashed an cannon of a shot from 18 yards to round out the scoring.
