Seniors, you will have your first class meeting of the year in the Fieldhouse during Encore today.  ALL seniors are expected to be in attendance.  On Thursday, the sophomores and juniors will meet together during Encore and on Friday, the freshman

We have open mats for Chess in Room 500 every Encore period.  All are welcome!

The swim team begins it’s season today at Mehlville vs Oakville at 4:30! Come cheer on your Griffin swimmers.

Parking passes need to be filled out and paid for by Friday of this week.  Starting on Monday we will start to issue tickets for those that have not purchased their passes.  Reminder that there is NO parking on the Lutheran lot or the lot behind Jason’s Deli.

There will be a meeting for all sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are interested in fall conditioning and training for basketball on Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m. in the fieldhouse.  Questions?  See Coach K. Walsh in room PE5.   Freshman...your meeting will be scheduled later in the week.

Seniors--current law requires you to register with Selective Service when you turn 18.  Although there is no draft, not registering will prevent you from receiving any federal financial aid for college.  You can register for Selective Service with Mr. Matreci in room 500.  You can also register to vote at the same time.  

The BBQ Club will meet in the Griffin Cafe at 8:30am Wednesday morning. Come learn about this year’s activities and how you can be part of the club.

Today at the beginning of Encore we will start our Encore Communion Services. Anyone who would like to stop by for 5 min of prayer, join us in the Marianist lobby. We ask students walking by during the service to be reverent.

Calling all new and returning sophomore Griffin Guides! Please complete the online application via the link sent to you in an email. The deadline is this Friday, August 25th. New Griffin Guides need to see Mrs. Sabatino in the Admissions Office to pick up the faculty recommendation forms.

Vianney Griffins. This Saturday STUCO is holding our BACK TO SCHOOL mixer! The mixer is open to ALL STUDENTS and your friends. You can purchase tickets for $7 this week from a STUCO member or $10 at the door. Theme is Blacklight.

Freshman and LINK CREW leaders you are reminded to report to your LINK CREW rooms today during encore. Today you will be broken into small groups to do a scavenger hunt of the people of Vianney.
