Friday, August 25:

All last year golfers should meet in Room 306 at Encore.

Freshmen will have their first class meeting of the year in the Fieldhouse during Encore today.  ALL freshmen are expected to be in attendance.  

Today we will have a communion service in the Marianist lobby during Encore.

Throughout the day in the chapel will be Eucharistic adoration until 2pm. Please feel free to make a visit to the chapel.

Vianney Griffins. This Saturday STUCO is holding our BACK TO SCHOOL mixer! The mixer is open to ALL STUDENTS and your friends. You can purchase tickets for $7 this week from a STUCO member or $10 at the door. Theme is Blacklight.

The Freshman Black Soccer Team defeated Collinsville yesterday 4 - 0 to improve to 2 - 0 on the season. Goals were scored by Ben Schraeder, Chase Schutzenhofer, Cadin Moss and Brian Northrup. The shutout was recorded by Quinn Bader and Andrew Feldmeier.

The B soccer team tied Collinsville 1-1.  Goal was scored Matt Piper.

The Varsity Soccer team had a great team effort in a tough road game @ Collinsville last night and came away with a 4-0 win.  Goal scorers were Jacob Sansone, Kamou Harris, Ryan Puricelli, & Ty Valentine.  The shutout was recorded by Noah Hartenstein.  The team plays at St. Dominic’s on Saturday at NOON

The Griffin Cross Country team began its season yesterday at the Fleet Feet Kickoff Classic.  Sam Moore finished in the top 20 to lead the Varsity to an 8th place out of 18 teams.  Paul Hoffman led the JV squad from start to finish in his first meet as a Griffin.  Congratulations to all on a fast day.

The swim team continues it’s season at  Ladue tomorrow starting at 11 am. Good luck to the swimmers at their first invitational!

The Ping Pong Club starts on Monday. Anyone is welcome to come play ping pong in the Commons after school Monday.
