Prayers today for Sophomores on their Retreat and Junior, Charlie Schoen and his family his grandfather passed away earlier this week

Looking for someplace to go after tonight’s game?  Want to help raise money for the Senior Graduation Lock-In?  Pick up a flyer at the gate tonight and head over to Chili’s across Kirkwood Road after the game.  Chili’s will donate 15% of your pre-tax check to the lock-in.

Reminder that we will have the Freshman Class Meeting today.  At the start of Encore we ask that the all members of the freshman class report to the Fieldhouse.  This will take the place of going to your Link Crew Room.

Paintball Club will meet Tuesday, August 30th in Ms. White’s Room (Room 102) at the start of Encore!  All grades are welcome! Please make plans to attend!  Any questions, ask Ms. White!

STUCO is running low on available tickets to the Back to School mixer! Pre-Purchase your tickets from STUCO to guarantee entrance to the dance. Purchase from STUCO reps during the day or in room 310. $8 pre-order, $10 at the door.

We ask that please be thoughtful as your dispose of trash in the cafe.  The blue containers with the recycling arrows are for recycling only.  No food waste, left over catsup, or half-eaten sandwiches should be thrown into them.  Any food item contaminates the container.  Please place trash in the trash receptacles and recyclables in the blue containers.  Your planet earth thanks you

Voter Registration:  Anyone who will be 18 on or before Election Day, November 8, and who wants to vote in the election can register to vote with Mr. Matreci in room 500.  The deadline for registration is October 12.

Freshman, This Friday is our First home football game. A tailgate for all freshman begins at 3:15pm. Sign up in your LINK rooms for free food, a movie, and a great experience! There is NO CHARGE for this event

Yesterday B Soccer defeated Collinsville 6-0.  Goals were scored by Reilly Byrne, Joe Michel, Josh Michel, Dom Cissi, and two goals by Kamou Harris.  Collin Doherty, Jack White, and Tommy Gators each had an assist and Marty Thomas recorded two assists.  Kyle Diffley and Tyler Harris split the shutout.  

Mark Pelizzaro’s game winner last night with 6 minutes to go gave the varsity soccer team a 2-1 home opener WIN vs. Collinsville.  Andrew Poelzl scored the other goal with Steven Bibas & Cameron Haegele each had an assist. The soccer team is back on the pitch tomorrow @ home vs. St. Dominic.  B Team @ 10:00am and Varsity @ 12:00.

Zach Layton was the varsity’s top finisher and Alec Poulsen led the JV cross country team in yesterday’s hot and fast Fleet Feet Invitational.
