Paintball Club will meet TODAY in Ms. White’s Room (Room 102) at the start of Encore!  All grades are welcome! Please make plans to attend!  Any questions, ask Ms. White!

There will be a meeting for all Fall Athletic Apostles on Wednesday, August 31 at 8:00 in Room PE500.

As part of Freshman Orientation the Computer Labs located in room 201 and 205 will be CLOSED during encore all week for Freshman orientation. Other students SHOULD NOT be in there during encore.

Vianney is looking to make Bocce history this year with back to back Bocce championships. Be a part of the magic. Come to the Bocce meeting today at encore in room 109. See Mr. Kheriaty with questions.

On Thursday, the Vianney Prolife Club will meet for the first time. We  invite you to join us. Throughout history it has been men who have defended the defenseless. Who have fought for those who could not protect themselves. Men, let’s stand up and change the world. Thursday. Encore. Room 109.

Junior and Senior LINK Leaders. This week is a BIG week for freshman with many LINK activities. ALL LINK LEADERS please be in your classrooms ALL week to help speakers and students succeed.

The 2016 Homecoming dance is now available for sign up. Check the main Vianney page or the STUCO page for the online sign up. Paper copies of instructions are available in the main office or from Mr. Lewis. You must complete sign up by September 12th!

Interested in Politics and Government?  Want to learn more about the American political process in this exciting election year?  Come to the organizational meeting of the American Government & Politics Club during Encore TODAY in room 500.  If you have questions, see Seniors Tommy Sauer, Nick Rych, Carson Meyer or Mr. Matreci.

If you are a senior and would like to be a Eucharistic Minister at our masses,  please sign up with Fr. Tim. A training session will take place tomorrow morning, Wednesday at 8:40 a.m. in the Activity Center.

Any student interested in being a part of the Photo Club this year should check in with Mr. Burke in room 205.

A reminder that there is to be NO food or drink taken outside the cafe.  There have been several spills on carpeting already this school year.  Teachers on Cafe Duty are asked to help in monitoring this situation as the students leave the cafe.

Any students who are interested in joining the Fantasy Football Club and competing against both your peers and teachers, please sign up in the leadership center before this Friday.

The Letterman’s Club is accepting membership forms this week.  Stop by room 305 or room 408 to pick up an application.  Applications will be considered this week.  See Mr. C. Walsh or Ms. Thompson for more information.  Join the Letterman’s Club today!

The freshman football team ran their record to 2-0 yesterday with a 14-8 victory over Kirkwood. TD’s were scored by Joe Louis and Pete Hebenstreit. The Griffs are back at it the Thursday at home against Edwardsville.

A period teachers-- please hand out the forms to your sophomores and juniors now if you haven’t done so. The circled portions must be completed for students to receive an id.

Attention all students interested in a medical career: Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) will have an informational meeting during Encore on Friday in room 107 or see Mr. Touzinsky for more information.
