Varsity soccer won their first round game in the St Dominic Super Cup with a 1-0 victory over Priory. Collin Doherty got the goal and Kyle Diffley recorded the shutout in goal.

The following need to report to Room 402 at the start of Encore on Thursday for a 7 minute meeting: Ethan Bopp, John Echele, Wes Farhatt, Charlie Giallanzo, Nathan Hemenway, Justin Kaiser, Miles Mao, Justin Pelizzaro, Zach Poezl, Alec Poulsen, Blake Rief, Jack Sitner, Jack White and Jack Wilson.

The Freshman Black Soccer Team tied SLUH yesterday 0-0.  The Griffin defense and goalie Blake Clough recorded their second straight shutout.

The Freshman Gold Soccer Team defeated Pattonville yesterday 10-0.  Jonathan Davis scored 3 goals, and Madio Gislimberti, Adam Flanagan, Ethan Eddy, Patrick Burke, Alex Vogelweid, Will Picha, Jonathan Wheeler all scored one goal.  Will Picha and Ryan McCaffrey shared the shutout in goal. It was a fine team victory.

ALL LACROSSE PLAYERS are reminded that the Parent/Player informational meeting will be on THURSDAY September 6th in the Griffin Cafe at 7:00 pm

Chess Intramurals competition begins this week. Registration I required.  See Mr. Matreci in the Leadership Center room 301 for information.

The Pro Life Club meets again tomorrow at encore in room 109. Please bring your participation forms so we can plan the year. New members are always welcome.

The freshman/sophomore football team defeated Althoff 34-18 yesterday. Cannen Barcom with 3 TDs and Paul Berra and Matt Louis each had one.
