Morning

All High School night speakers please report to Room 504 at the start of Encore.

There is a Bocce organizational meeting during Encore today.  You must attend one of the meetings this week to play Fall session.  Room 107

Will you be a voice for the unborn who cannot speak for themselves? There are lots of ways to get involved in the Prolife movement. You can learn about how to help at today’s Prolife Club meeting during encore in room 109.  Pretzel boys will be provided.

Today during Encore, Campus Ministry will offer Mass in the chapel.  Fr. Brian Fallon will serve as today’s celebrant. All are welcome! 

You can play chess at encore today in room 209.  Chess Intramural competition begins this week. Registration is required.  Register either with Mr. Matreci in the Leadership Center or with Mr. Baur in room 209 at encore or after classes.  Round 1 competition is scheduled after classes today, with check in at 2:50. 

ALL CURRENT and POTENTIAL LACROSSE PLAYERS: Pre-season workouts will continue TODAY @ 3:00 pm on the track. Questions? See Coach Stein in Room 305

Attention juniors and seniors:  Sign ups are open for this year’s ACT prep courses.  The first courses of the school year are starting on September 18, for students taking the ACT in October.  If you’d like more information, see Mr. Meyer in the counseling office or email Mrs. Kheriaty directly.

For all returning racquetball players and anyone else interested in playing racquetball.There will be an informational meeting today right after school. If you cannot attend, see Mr Buehrle in room 106 as soon as possible. The meeting will last no more than 5 minutes.

Freshmen who are not playing a fall sport and who are interested in playing basketball this winter, we will have a brief ten-minute meeting to discuss fall workout opportunities today immediately after school in Room 504.

To anyone who missed the first Spike Ball Meeting, you are in luck because we are having another one today during Encore in Room 102, which is Mrs. Caul’s classroom.  Be there!

The cross country team kicks off its season for a second time this season with today Webster Groves Invitational at Blackburn Park. Freshmen start the racing at 4:25.

Afternoon

SPIKE BALL!  TODAY IS THE DAY!  The first Spike Ball competition will take place from 3:00p to 4:00p on The Heeb!  Meet Coach Caul, Evan Rockwell, Danny Harris, and Henry Vest near the concession stand end of the football field.  SPIKE BALL!
