Pro Life Club:  The Pro Life Club will meet today during Encore. All students are invited to join in our efforts to promote life during this coming year.

Need tutoring?  Having trouble with math?  Science?  Need help writing a paper?  Our tutor, Ms. Jean Kilper, will begin her after school help on Monday, September 9.  She will be here every Monday and Wednesday after school for an hour.  See your counselor if you are interested in accessing her assistance.

Attention sophomores, juniors and seniors and their parents:  Join Lane Ramey from Rockhurst University on Wednesday at 7 pm in the Vianney media center as he talks about the college search process, the college application process and financial aid for college.  It's not too early nor too late to talk about college planning!

Attention seniors, juniors and sophomores---mark your calendars for the Vianney College Fair on Thursday, September 19 from 7-8:30 pm.  Visit with over 130 college representatives.  Preregister at:  www.gotocollegefairs.com and print out your personal bar code to make your time at the fair more efficient!  See you there!

Close Up:  For close to 40 years, Vianney students have enjoyed going on a week-long trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in a program called Close Up.  This year will be no different.  On February 10th, a plane will take this year’s participants to the capital to interface with students from all over the country, and with members of our federal government, in a week-long study of our government in action.    There will be a meeting for any Sophomore, Junior or Senior who is interested in going to Washington, D.C. for this experience today during Encore in Room 102.   The cost of the program will be discussed at this meeting.

The following Colleges will have reps on campus in September.  Sign up on Family Connection to schedule yourself to meet with them.
