Juniors, this is a reminder that you have a class meeting today during Encore in the Fieldhouse.  

Bocce players--Reminder that we begin play today.  Make sure you are on time for your matches. Schedules and rosters are posted outside Room 107

Nathan Beaton, Christian Heumann, Dio Li, Thomas Mataya, Cesar Medina, Andrew Willi, Leo Xing, Brian Zhang, and Ansen Zheng, please come to the main office after announcements on your way to the Senior class meeting.

You can play chess at encore today in room 209.

Intramural competition continues this week.  Round 2 competition is schedled for today at 2:50 in room 209, with check in by 2:50.  See Mr. Baur at encore or Mr. Matreci in the leadership center for information.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in participating in this year’s Close Up trip to Washington DC with Cor Jesu Academy on Friday during encore in room 402   The Close Up program is a one-week intensive experience of government in our nation’s capital. Students meet members of the government and visit Washington’s famous monuments and museums. See Mr. Weber for more information.  

Griffin Theatre will hold auditions for Peter and the Starcatcher tonight. Peter and the Starcatcher is the prequel to J. Barrie’s Peter Pan and Wendy. If you are interested in getting involved with Griffin Theatre, see Mr. Book in Room 503 for more details. No previous experience is necessary.

A reminder to all current and new National Honor Society members, there will be a meeting this Friday during encore in room 106. All members must attend.

Attention juniors and seniors:  If you’re taking the ACT in October and would like to take the prep course beforehand, it starts on Wednesday.  Students who take the course, improve their scores by an average of 4 points. See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information, or email Mrs. Kheriaty directly.

Don’t miss Junior Devin Thode’s hard hitting message at Griffin LIFE tonight from 6 - 8:00 pm in the Art Gallery. What do we do at Griffin LIFE? There’s only one way to find out. 

Griffin XC toes the line for the second time this season as they compete today in the Ladue/Clayton Invitational. Racing begins at 4:45 pm at St. Vincent’s Park in Normandy.

Attention Freshmen: If you are interested in learning about the Vianney Prolife Club, please come to a meeting at encore on Monday in room 109. Upperclassmen, if you weren’t able to make the first Prolife Club meeting, come on by on Monday during encore to room 109.

To celebrate all of our fall sports programs STUCO is sponsoring a black and gold dress down day tomorrow! Students are encouraged to show their school spirit and wear their Vianney gear. Any student who dresses down must be in Vianney gear or generic, plain black and gold shirts, shorts or sweatpants. No college gear is allowed! 

After school math tutoring is available today in room 208.

Members of the class of 2023--your next Link Crew Seminar is Friday during Encore for your Freshman Class Meeting.  

To all current and new National Honor Society members, there will be a meeting this Friday during encore in room 106. All members must attend.

All students planning on playing racquetball this year, there will be a mandatory meeting in room 106 next Thursday, September 19th, during Encore. The meeting will cover all information for the upcoming season. If you are currently playing other sports and cannot attend, see Mr Buehrle ASAP.

Bowling, bowling, bowling! It’s that magical time of year! Bowling season is around the corner. Any student interested in joining the bowling team should attend a meeting immediately after school in Room 104. Any fall sport athletes interested in bowling should see Mr. Remiger before next Tuesday.
