A reminder to all sophomores that you will have your class meeting in the fieldhouse this morning during Encore.  All MUST be present since information on sophomore retreat will be discussed..

Today, the swim team travels to Chaminade to compete at 4 pm. Good luck to our swimmers!

There will be a meeting during encore today for anyone interested in the Close Up trip to Washington DC in February with Cor Jesu Academy. Spend a week in Washington DC and see your government in action. See Mr. Weber in room 402 for more information.

The Vianney Investment Club meets for the first time today after school in room 310. See Mr. Lewis if you would like to sign up but can not make it today.

Chess Intramurals practice & competition begin Monday, September 18.  Registration is now open.  All students are invited to participate.  To register, see Mr. Matreci in room 500 either before school, during Encore, or immediately after school sometime this week.  Please note that chess is played in room 500 during Encore every day.

The Politics Club will meet in room 500 during Encore on Friday to discuss our constitution and debating procedures.

The Vianney High School Letterman’s Club is now accepting applications forms for membership in this year’s club.  To be a member, you must have participated in a sport at Vianney and get a recommendation from a coach in that sport.  The sport does not need to be a varsity level sport.  You can contact Ms. Kristy Thompson or Mr. C. Walsh for applications forms.

All High School Night speakers please report to room PE5 immediately at the start of Encore today for practice.

Homecoming week starts on Monday with a BLACK & Gold Dress down day! STUCO will also be selling Ice Cream at lunch for $2. The last day to sign up for the homecoming dance is Monday. See Mr. Lewis or the main office for a sign-up form.

Freshman today for link crew you will be meeting in the Activity Center. Please go there after you check in at your classrooms during encore.
