The Griffin Gold soccer team last night displayed what hard work and team effort can accomplish at clutch time. Your Golden Griffins beat a strong MICDS team last night in a tight match. A long distance shot from inside the arc on a rebound corner kick from Scott Curtis kept the game at a 1-1 tie. Will Meyer came up big late in the second half with a perfect placement shot off a cross from Lucas Sulz to push the Griffins to a 2-1 victory. Great game Griffins!
