Attention seniors, juniors and sophomores---mark your calendars for the Vianney College Fair tomorrow from 7-8:30 pm. Visit with over 130 college representatives. Preregister at: www.gotocollegefairs.com and print out your personal bar code to make your time at the fair more efficient! See you there!
ANYONE interested in starting Vianney's first LITERARY & ART JOURNAL should attend an informational meeting Thursday during Encore in Room 302. This is a great opportunity to place your creative stamp on the history of this school!
The Scramblers will have meetings all week during Encore in Room 110 beginning Monday, September 16th through Friday, September 20th to plan for the Spirit Week Pep Rally. Thank you!
Students who ordered pictures to be picked up at school can pick them up after school in the Main Office. Students who only had pictures taken for the yearbook can also pick up their ID cards in the Main Office after school.
Season athletic passes are on sale in the Griffin Gear Store for $25.00.
Attention juniors and seniors: Washington University is hosting Mini-Medical School, an evening programl for students considering medicine as a profession. The first session begins next week. See your counselor in the Leadership Center for more details.
Senior Kairos Lists: The Kairos retreat lists are now posted on the Campus Ministry Bulletin Board. If your name is not on the list or you have a particular concern, please see Fr. Tim.
The JV football team lost a heart breaker to De Smet Monday 21-6. Patrick Cronley scored for the Griffs on a 30 yard touchdown pass from Nick Voorhees. Next up, will be the SLUH Billikens.
Attention all members of the Spanish Honor Society--there is a mandatory meeting of the Society on Monday, September 23 during Encore in room 408. We will nominate for officers, discuss Hats On Day, which is next week, and talk about induction. See Mrs. Fullenkamp for information.
National Honor Society members need to sign up to help with set-up or tear-down for the Vianney College Fair tomorrow night. If you need to sign up, or have forgotten what you signed up for, check the list in room 105.
Attention seniors: Is a parent, grandparent, or great grandparent a military veteran? You may be eligible for a scholarship from the American Legion. Check out the qualifications for the different American Legion scholarships on the scholarship list of the colleges tab of Family Connection. See your counselor in the Leadership Center for more information.

The Swim Team lost to John Burroughs yesterday despite a strong effort. Diver Sam Trenter took first place points with a solid performance as he closes the gap on State Qualification. Sophomore Nick Alexander took first in the 200 Free with a state qualifying performance of 1:48.02--breaking his own school record set last season. The team is back in action tomorrow at 4pm as they take on Kirkwood at Meramec CC Pool.
