The Politics Club will meet during Encore today in room 500 to elect officers for this year.

The following need to report to Coach Brown in the Main Office following announcements: Carlos Buscio, Kam Sengheiser and Matthew Thomas

There will be a meeting for all sophomore, juniors and seniors who are interested in trying out for baseball next Monday, September 25 during Encore.

Attention juniors and seniors:  The first ACT prep courses of the year starts this Wednesday.  There are only a few spots left in the class that begins at 3:15pm, and there is also a class that starts at 6pm.  These courses will help you if you’re taking the October ACT.  See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

The swim team hosts its first home meet of the season today at Webster University against Desmet. Come cheer on your swimmers at 4 pm!

CHESS INTRAMURALS PRACTICE AND COMPETITION BEGIN THIS WEEK.  PRACTICES ARE SCHEDULED FROM 2:50 TO 4:30 MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY WITH COMPETITION THURSDAY WITH CHECK IN BY 2:50 IN ROOM 500. THOSE WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED MAY DO SO WITH MR. MATRECI IN  ROOM 500 EITHER DURING ENCORE OR AFTER CLASSES.

Any students interested in purchasing Curry 3 Shoes at a discounted rate as well as other Vianney Basketball Under Armour gear should attend a meeting with Coach KWalsh in room PE5 on Tuesday during Encore.  Questions?? See Coach K Walsh.

The Bocce Club will have a brief meeting Tuesday in Room 107 at Encore.  All should attend.  

Art contest for seniors who like to do artwork: Design and paint a fire hydrant for the City of Kirkwood. Two $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to the winners. See Ms. Judge by Friday of this week for details, if you’re interested.

Today starts Homecoming Spirit Week! At Lunch STUCO will be selling Andy’s Frozen Custard! Tuesday is Jersey Day!

Today is the last day for you to join the 200+ couples already signed up for homecoming online. All Students MUST turn in Money and signed form to Mr. Lewis by Tuesday to secure your spot at the dance. If you have any questions see Mr. lewis in room 310 after school.

The Vianney Prolife Club’s purpose is to build a culture of life through prayer, education, and action. Sadly, there is an abortion in the U.S. every 20 seconds. But for the first time in 40 years, the majority of young people are now Pro Life. Change is coming. Be part of the movement. Come to the Pro Life Club meeting Wednesday morning at 8:30.

Juniors and Seniors, a reminder that The Catholic University of America, St. Mary’s San Antonio and Dayton are visiting today. Due to the large amount of students signed up to visit Dayton, we will be meeting in room 306.
