Any students interested in purchasing Curry 3 Shoes at a discounted rate as well as other Vianney Basketball Under Armour gear should attend a meeting with Coach KWalsh in room PE5 on Tuesday during Encore.  Questions?? See Coach Walsh.

Attention all freshman.  We will have a mandatory 10 minute meeting in the fieldhouse at the start of Encore.  Please do not be late.  You will have the remainder of the time to do as you would like.  This meeting trumps ALL other meetings.

Attention juniors and seniors:  the ACT test prep courses for students taking the October ACT will begin tomorrow, but it is not too late to sign up.  There is one course beginning at 3:15, and another at 6pm.  See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

There will be a meeting for all sophomore, juniors and seniors who are interested in trying out for baseball this coming Monday, September 25 during Encore.  Freshman meeting will be later in the week.

The freshmen gold soccer team ending last week overcoming challenges and ending on a positive note, winning back to back games against MICDS and Bayless. Coming back from being down 1-0 both games, teamwork and a determination for payback, the gold team won both games by a score of 2-1. The gold team continues their winning streak tomorrow against CBC. Great job Griffins!

There is a brief Bocce Club meeting in Room 105 during Encore.  All players should attend or see Mr. Alexander.

The Vianney Prolife Club is calling all men of good will to join the effort to breathe hope into our culture. Please meet in room 109 tomorrow at 8:30 am.

There will be a student led rosary in the chapel tomorrow morning at 8:15. All are welcome. We will be done in time to catch the Pro-life Club meeting.

All clubs participating in the offertory of the Mass on Thursday should let Fr. Tim or Mr Remiger know who is representing your group

Today there will be no Mass in Chapel at Encore. Instead we will have our regular communion service

Today the Griffin Harriers compete against Chaminade and St. Mary’s in the annual Lt. Dan Riordan Memorial and Marianist meet.  The race begins at 4:30 at the Marianist retreat center.

Chess Intramurals Practice And Competition Begin This Week.  Practices Are Scheduled From 2:50 To 4:30 Tuesday And Wednesday With Competition Thursday With Check In By 2:50 In Room 500. Those Who Have Not Registered May Do So With Mr. Matreci In  Room 500 Either During Encore Or After Classes.

Welcome to Day 2 of Spirit Day! STUCO is sponsoring Food Trucks which will be parked outside after school and selling to the student body.

All Signed permission slips and money are due to Mr. Lewis TODAY to secure your spot for the homecoming dance. See Mr. Lewis if you have any questions.

ATTENTION ALL National Honor Society Members: The Academic Tournament of Champions is three weeks away and we must be prepared.  Training for this event will take place EVERY Encore period and AFTER school.  Be sure to attend at least TWO.  We will meet in ROOM 302.

Also, reminder that tonight is the Vianney College Fair.  NHS members need to meet immediately after school for set-up.  For those who signed up for break-down, we will meet at 7:30 pm sharp!

The combined Sophomore/Freshman football team completed the sweep of Chaminade winning 42-33 yesterday. Great performances by Cannen Barcom, Griffin John, Jake Miller, and Drew Bishop led the team.
